Join this community 9/11 effort to pick up garbage and trim back grasses, shrubs and tree growth along the 21st St Pond (Goode Ski Lake) portion of the 27-mile Centennial Trail Loop linking together the Ogden and Weber River Parkways & the Bonneville Shoreline Trail in the foothills east of Ogden.

Did you know two-thirds of the women in the Church are single? If I had the wish of my heart, I would fervently wish that all women would understand their worth and that regardless of marital status or any other characteristic, they absolutely belong in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—each and every woman! From age 18 to 108, each is a valued member of Relief Society.

One of the beauties of Heavenly Father’s plan is the uniqueness of individuals. Every person is of infinite value. We need all of your various backgrounds and experiences; those outlooks and perspectives create a richness that enhances every woman’s life and improves the effectiveness of our work. So often we feel we need to be like someone else in order to be valued. That is so, so wrong!

Whether you are single, divorced, married, widowed, or remarried, each of you is valued, and your capacity for leadership and spiritual strength is independent of your marital status. For each daughter of God, there is a personal mission and plan for you. Your path will be guided individually. Embrace the truth that your path may be different from others, and applaud others in their paths as well. By doing this, we’ll be able to move forward in unity. Oh how I love you wonderful women!

An excerpt from a temple statement by Vaughn J Featherstone

The season of the world before us will be like no other in the history of mankind. Satan has unleashed every evil, every scheme, every blatant vile perversion ever known to the dispensation of the fulness of evil. Just as this is the dispensation of the fulness of times, so it is also the dispensation of the fulness of evil. We and our wives and husbands, our children, and our members must find safety. There is no safety in the world, wealth cannot provide it, enforcement agencies cannot assure it, membership in the Lord's church alone cannot bring it.
As the evil night darkens upon this generation, we must come to the temple for light. In our temples we find quiet, sacred havens where the storm cannot pe*****te to us. There are numbers of unseen sentinels watching over and guarding our temples. Angels attend every door. As it was in the days of Elisha so it will be for us, "Those that be with us are more than they that be against us". (2 Kings 6:15-17)

Hello everyone! We have a sister in the stake who needs a place to live ASAP for 3 months so she’s hoping for a month to month lease or a 3 month lease. If you haven’t heard already, our stake is collecting food for the next couple of weeks (up until March 20th) for a large food drive. Each ward will have a box where they can donate food. We will be handing out door hangers as well with a QR code to allow you to donate money if you would rather not bring food.
