For us as Latter-day Saints, Jesus Christ is the center of everything we believe and everything we strive to become. He is not merely an admirable teacher or a spiritual symbol: He is our Savior, our Redeemer, the literal Son of God, and the only path back to our Heavenly Father.

We believe that Jesus came to earth to fulfill the Father’s will, to teach truth, to heal the brokenhearted, and above all, to offer His life in atonement for each of us.
He descended below all things so that He could lift us above everything that burdens or wounds us.

Jesus Christ is also our perfect example. By following Him, we learn to love more deeply, forgive more freely, and live more humbly.
He is not a distant God: He is a living Savior, a constant Guide, and a loving Friend.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it fills me with hope to know that our Heavenly Father has a perfect plan for each of us. We are not here by chance, nor are we walking through life without direction.
The Plan of Salvation teaches us that we are children of a loving Father, that we lived with Him before coming to earth, and that through Jesus Christ we can return to His presence.

This plan helps us understand who we are, where we came from, and where we are going. It also reminds us that every trial, challenge, and joy is part of an eternal purpose.
Christ is the center of the plan; His Atonement makes our redemption, our growth, and our hope possible.

Two spiritual giants—Russell M. Nelson, President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Jeffrey R. Holland, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles—have shaped our generation with faith, courage, and unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ. Though moments come when we feel the weight of mortality and the ache of separation, heaven reminds us that God’s servants are never lost—only carried forward in His eternal plan.

Their lives of consecrated service testify that the work of the Lord does not pause at the veil. The gospel they preached, the covenants they defended, and the Savior they bore witness of continue to bless lives on both sides of eternity. The voices that taught us to trust Christ, to walk the covenant path, and to press forward with hope still echo with power and purpose.

Such lives are not diminished by time or trial—they are refined. The work they championed moves forward, the testimonies they bore remain steady, and the hope they anchored in Christ stands firm. We feel gratitude more than sorrow, faith more than fear, and assurance more than uncertainty. In God’s eternal design, separation is temporary, service is endless, and love is everlasting.
