Went to the temple this morning. I love the peace and joy I feel when I walk through those doors! I did some family name baptisms a couple months ago and today I was able to do initiatories for them. What a beautiful thing it is to be able to take that journey for my ancestors.

Sisters,
We have been experiencing some difficulties seeing posts from you. As we have discussed this issue, we have ultimately decided that it is best if we move from being a "Page" to a "Facebook Group". You still will be able to post and share insights/resources with one another, it will just be within that group. This page will still exist for those that would like the insights/resources that have been shared on here. You can also come to this page and be redirected to our group by clicking on "Groups" on the left hand side of the page, then clicking on the group with the same name.

The new "Facebook Group" will be a closed private group, so you will need to be invited or be accepted into it. I unfortunately am not "Friends" on Facebook with all the sisters of our ward so if any of you notice that there is someone missing from the group that should be a part of it, please invite them.

We know that this can be different for you, but feel this is necessary for us to be able to more effectively connect with one another.

Sisters we love you! And want to hear from you and connect with you, especially at this difficult time! Please if you have any questions ask here or contact Sister Janae Hadley.

We wanted to remind you about the Stake Relief Society Devotional Broadcast--Treasures of the Temple this Thursday at 7 p.m. for all sisters 16 and older.

With social distancing in place this will be broadcast via technology. You should have received an email from the Stake President detailing on how to watch the devotional from your home. If you have not received that email please contact me (Janae Hadley) and I will forward that on to you.

Sisters,
We wanted to remind you all about the worldwide day of prayer and fasting tomorrow.

“During times of deep distress, as when illness reaches pandemic proportions, the most natural thing for us to do is to call upon our Heavenly Father and His Son—the Master Healer—to show forth Their marvelous power to bless the people of the earth. …

"As part of our April 2020 general conference, I am calling for another worldwide fast. For all whose health may permit, let us fast, pray, and unite our faith once again. Let us prayerfully plead for relief from this global pandemic.

"I invite all, including those not of our faith, to fast and pray on Good Friday, April 10, that the present pandemic may be controlled, caregivers protected, the economy strengthened, and life normalized. …

With the ongoing Stake project of making face masks they are still in need of volunteers to help so if you are willing to help please contact Lou Hansen. Also they are in need of sew-in pellon and Olyfun pellon. If any of you have some you can donate please contact Lou Hansen or Melanie Meszaros.

Sisters,

Our Stake Relief Society Presidency has asked if we would like to participate in a service project. This project is of making Cloth masks for Utah critical care frontline staff working in Assisted Living & Nursing Homes.

If you are willing and able to help these are things we need from you:

-Sew the masks if you own a sewing machine. The materials are being gathered and will be given to you with instructions.

-Donations of the following materials

1. Quilting cotton fabric (pre-shrink the fabric by washing and drying)
2. Elastic (cords or ¼”) Bias tape finished on ends and sides
3. 6 “ wire (18 gauge, florist wire, or pipe cleaner) ends twisted back with needle nose plyers so
wire does not poke through fabric
4. Pins
5. Scissors
6. Ruler
