Yesterday, little Beckett was Baptized into Christ and made a child of God! We rejoice with his parents and godparents, and pray for his continued growth in both body and soul.

Almighty and everlasting God, since you govern and sanctify the whole Christian Church by Your Holy Spirit, hear our prayers for all her members, and mercifully grant that by Your grace we may serve You in true faith; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Six of our young ladies attended this week, along with Pastor.

Praise the Lord for what they learned, and may He help them to retain it!

One of the main missions at St. John's is coordinating Camp Comeca for youth across three states each May. Confirmation Camp 2026 was magnificent. "Lord, Help us Ever to Retain" was our focus this year. "The Gifts Christ freely Gives" was featured throughout the week as well.

Our Third-Fifth Graders have been asking Pastor all year to “explain how the Trinity works”. So, to wrap up their Religion classes for the year, they dived into the doctrine of our Three-in-One and One-in-Three God. By the end, they read a lot of Bible, and brains were straining to understand. Perfectly! We trust and believe God is Who He says He is, even when our minds are about to burst!

We rejoice with our brothers and sisters at St. John's Lutheran Church - Ogallala, NE that, by the grace of God working through the Placement Committee of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne-CTSFW, the Lord has called Mr. (soon-to-be Rev.) Carter Thorman to be their Pastor.

We look forward to our Circuit once again being complete! Let us pray for Carter during his final weeks at the Seminary, for his family during their transition, and welcome them to Ogallala with open arms.

God is good, and Christ is Risen!

We are overjoyed to announce that God has called Carter Thorman to serve as our new pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church.
