Message from the Pastor:
I often drift in my mind to a place of instant calm as I think about the gentle man that I called "Daddy". His way was kind and soft. He loved flowers, fishing, and sports. And with limited room for this message in the bulletin, I can't even begin to tell you of the memories that I have of him. And as I age, I recognize that some of the interest and ways that I have is because I learned them from my father. This earthly truth reveals a spiritual application to me as an individual. I love for people to say the they see my father in me here on this earth but it doesn't even compare to being told that my ways honor my heavenly father. For He is the ultimate example of a beyond "Good Good Father"! I guess the question is "Does people see your
"Heavenly Father" in you? Happy Father's Day!!

Message from the Pastor:
What a wonderful week of VBS!! Just having the opportunity to minister to children of all ages was a blessing but watching God plant seed for generations to come is something else. As a matter of fact its beyond words. When we stop to think about the ones that are saved at VBS and the ones that may be saved later because of VBS is it powerful and humbling to say the least. We had lots of fun, food and friends but the most important part of VBS is faith in Jesus. Please pray that the seeds that are planted will be harvested one day as God works in the lives of each child that attended. And a great big "Thank You" to Lizzie Dixon (Director) and all the VBS team that worked so hard to make it happen. The hours of preparation are countless but the impact of it is eternal. May God reward each of you abundantly!
