Nursery Workers Needed: We urgently need nursery workers, see Tasha Lightsey for details.

Youth & Parent's Meeting: The youth and parents will meet on Sept. 13th in the youth room following the morning service.

Dependables Trip - JJ's Honey Tour: Join us for the sweetest tour ever! Tour is September 17th and we will meet at the church by 9:30 am. Please let Bobby or Virginia know if you are going no later than Wednesday, Sept. 9th.

Ongoing Ministries
Ladies Night Out: Join us for an evening of Blessings and Bingo! It will be Sept. 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the social hall. If you're able bring a wrapped gift for bingo or just bring yourself!

Dependables Meeting: The dependables meeting is Thurs, Sept. 17th. Come join us for a great time of food, fellowship, and fun! Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. We will meet in the social hall at 5:30 p.m.
Everyone 50 and older is invited.

Kid's Missions: September items are crafts (play-doh, coloring books, etc.) and Bookbag drive.

Message from the Pastor: The new church year is in full swing now and I
for one am excited to see what God has in store. Serving as a teacher or Leader in the church is an honor. My prayer for our church is that we approach it with the conviction and power of Elijah. The song writer once penned "These are the day of Elijah" and I believe that they are! How awesome it is to witness God's provision, power, and purpose in the life of the church!! Pleased be in "right standing" with our Lord!! Pray for God to move among us and serve like never before...with the "fire of Elijah"!
