Odin First Christian Church OFCC exists to further the cause of Christ by celebrating the grace and forgiveness found in Him. We are the Odin First Christian Church in Odin, IL.

Our mission is to live out the Great Commission with love, inviting all people to experience God’s forgiveness, purpose, and eternal life. Come join us for at 9:30 am on Sunday for Sunday School and at 10:30 am for Worship!

We all know that person that always tells you how smart they are,how good they are or how much they have. Don't be that person because we are all broken and the only way we are good or rich is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Be humble, know that everything good is through our Awesome God. We are so blessed. But sometimes we forget just how blessed we are. Be thankful always because no matter what is going on now,in the end we stand on the promises of God and because of his love for us the eternal life that he offers us and freely gives us.God is good all the time and all the time God is good. The servant gives praise to God not for his own blessings but for the blessings of Abraham. It's not always about us(me). We need to thank God for others and for the blessings that he gives them. Jealousy has no place in our relationships. Be thankful for others. Have a blessed day 🙏

I urge,then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,who wants all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,who gave himself as a ransom for all people.

If we would spend as much time praying as we do complaining, this world would be better off! Pray for everyone not just those who you " like" everybody!!! Especially those who you don't agree with or have done you" wrong" this is something we all can do better at. Pray today! Have a blessed day 🙏

Do you ever get excited about reading God's word? Do you get excited about going to Bible study? Do you get excited on Saturday night and get ready to go to Church Sunday morning? Are you excited that you can pray to our Awesome God anytime? Do you crave a closer relationship with God? Well if not you should! We should be craving God in everything that we do! James 5:16
Sometimes we just can't get over ourselves. So much as to shut everyone else out and even shut out the needs of others especially those who " do us wrong". We need each other and scripture is clear about that! It is God's will that we pray for each other. And James tells us that when you pray for each other that you will be healed. Not only does praying for each other help others but it helps you. Following God's will sets you free, completely free! Pray for each other today! Have a blessed day 🙏
