Odin First Christian Church OFCC exists to further the cause of Christ by celebrating the grace and forgiveness found in Him. We are the Odin First Christian Church in Odin, IL.

Our mission is to live out the Great Commission with love, inviting all people to experience God’s forgiveness, purpose, and eternal life. Come join us for at 9:30 am on Sunday for Sunday School and at 10:30 am for Worship!

Before I was affiliated I went astray, but now I obey your word. You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.

We all stray but you can always come back no matter how far you stray away from God he always welcomes you back with open arms. The second part of this is " teach me". How do we get taught? Read His word and pray for understanding! If we want to walk in His light we must learn how to by reading and listening to Him and Him alone. Block out the world and listen as you read His word. Sometimes we just need to get out of our own way! We don't like being told that we are wrong or, we need to fix what we done wrong. We get mad and stomp off with our little feelings hurt because someone told us ( out of love) that we were wrong. If you are the one doing the correcting make sure that you are doing it out of love and make sure you're correction aligns with God's word and will. No matter which side you are on in this just remember acting in God's love never fails. Have a blessed day 🙏.

God sends us reminders of who He is and of His promises,all you have to do is look for them! We as Christians need to make sure that we are sharing God's promises with everyone we possibly can. The rainbow belongs to God and God alone!
( As does everything else). Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers but especially to our Awesome God The Father of all. Have a blessed day 🙏

There are several people in this world that think that when they " go to Church" Sunday morning that they are good for the week. Well I can assure you that is wrong!!! When you listen to the word of God it should compel you to do something about it all week, everyday and for the rest of your life. If it doesn't then are you just wasting your time? Preach the word: be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instructions.
2 Timothy 4:2
This is not only for "preachers" this is for everyone to do! "Be prepared" read God's word, listen to what it says and do not be afraid to share it. Call out wrong ( not your opinion of wrong but what God's word says) do it in love then "encourage" them in the way of the Lord. Go out today and share Jesus with someone ( preach the word).
