To the 40 volunteers who served during the event, to the 12 individuals who helped with preparation but couldn’t be at the event, to the 27 middle school and high school students who made it all possible, THANK YOU! Thank you for giving sacrificially for two weeks leading up to the event. Thank you for investing your time and energy at work only to turn around and come to VBS and act like you were fully rested. Thank you for giving of your gifts to areas you love and for being adventurous and trying new things (and maybe finding new skills and talents). Thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone. Thank you for laying your life down for the kids of our church. You are an example of what Jesus called us to be. Because of you more than 75 toddlers and elementary kids heard about Jesus. Because of you more than 75 toddlers and elementary kids felt loved by our church. Because of you more than 75 toddlers and elementary kids felt His presence move and were touched. Because of you more than 75 toddlers and elementary kids felt HIS love (some for the first time). Because of you seeds were planted in the lives of more than 75 toddlers and elementary kids. Because of you 4 people (3 children and 1 adult) decided to be baptized in the wonderful, powerful name of Jesus!
You made a difference this weekend. You changed lives this weekend.
I am so thankful for each of you and count you among my many many blessings! Rest as you can, relax and recharge knowing that because of you the future is brighter for more than 75 people.
