The last part of roofing our 42nd Street facility is being completed this evening and the Parsonage on Esmond Drive will begin tomorrow. God's Spirit has been giving us tremendous guidance and direction in this amazing journey. We have developed strong relationships with people we didn't even know while collaborating with our United Methodist "Church Insurance Agency" adjustors and our contractor of choice, Tallent Roofing, to completely replace both sets of roofs due to hail damage about a year ago. Though the process has taken a long time, we are grateful this work is being done in a timely manner within the approved and contracted amounts.

The answer is "yes" if you were wondering about the height and steep grade of two major parts of the roofs. These are very experienced roofers about 60' up on the Chancel tower of the sanctuary. Even the foreman on the ground said that section made him a little nervous! It didn't seem to phase the very experienced crew when they threw off large groups of used shingles. However, the original sanctuary "A Frame" (R on 2nd pic) is a much steeper grade and required harnesses and tethers is several locations and took over a week to complete.

Come and join for worship this Sunday, June 12, with "brand new roof on top!" ~ Pastor Brad Bennett
