Daily Devotion. Calvary Love.
Love for Christ is the only motivating force that can influence how well we treat the people around us. Are we being kind in striving to make great personal sacrifices for others because we think we can make a good impression on Jesus? Or are we striving in all good works because of the impression He has made on us at Calvary? The big difference is saving faith in that Calvary love. The love demonstrated by God in us that flows out of a believing heart. A love proven to others by His work in us, and for us, not by our works to earn or merit what is freely given to us at Calvary. His love wins!
1 Timothy 4:12.

Daily Devotion. Living For Real. Our lifestyle reflects how we handle the business of living. How we react in any situation tells others about our faith or the lack of it. The control of the Lord Jesus Christ is real in the life of a believer. How real depends on how deeply we trust Him in all the areas of our lives. Depth in knowledge of the scriptures is not a substitute for Spirit filled discernment by a faithful, living application of what they teach. We can only be a Christlike example if our faith is built strong daily to stand up against worldly pressures that surround us. A weak faith will crumble, A good faith always endures.

Daily Devotion. The Proof. The proof of a good school is the quality of its graduates. The proof of a good Christian is how well we followed the coursework left by Jesus for us to complete in faithfulness to Him. When you graduate to Heaven will you be at the top of the class? Or at the bottom? In life how we graduate impacts our future life and influence. So at the end of our course in following Christ, how will we graduate? Will we show proof of the excellence of Christ through exemplifying Him in living godly ideals? Let’s all strive to be a “top of the class” example of Christian living that pays off for all eternity!

Daily Devotion. Credible Living. Your credibility as a Christian doesn’t depend on age or experience, it depends upon the reality of Christ in your life. A reality that is the anchor of our souls if we are indeed following Him. It’s not about a church, or religious prescription based on fables, legends, and myths popularly designed to distract from the valid record confirmed by the Word of God. This distracts, and contradicts His Gospel, and is out of line with a Spirit filled testimony in Christ. The poison that kills credibility is mixing truth with error, and makes all who preach it false, invalid, and useless. Base your life on His Word alone.

Daily Devotion. The Rest Of Hope. Our hope is built on the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ, a mighty and strong tower in which we can always find refuge, peace, and rest from all the world’s troubles. When we run into His powerful fortress, we are surrendering our fears and our own efforts to defend against them. A life sheltered in this way reflect’s order, peace, and modesty. In contrast a life lived outside of Christ is marked by violence, restlessness, self harm and lewdness. Trust in the living God is our protection from the evil influence of the world around us. We are set free by the faith that builds a hope we can rest in.
1 Timothy 4:10.
