Tomorrow we’re praying over every student for the new school year. Both services. Student led worship. It’s gonna be a special one.

And it’s our first Sunday with TWO services at the 11000 campus.

🎉 Tonight’s the Night! 🎉

It’s our first MDWK in the new building, and we couldn’t be more excited, not just for HopeKids, but for our entire church family!

As you arrive, please be patient during check-in. We’ll have multiple check-in stations open, but we’ll also be taking a little extra time to:
✅ Promote each child to the correct grade level
✅ Verify and update family information
✅ Make sure everyone is ready for an amazing new ministry year

A few extra moments at check-in tonight will help make future check-ins faster and smoother.

Thank you for your patience and for celebrating this exciting milestone with us. We can’t wait to welcome your family and see what God has in store this year! 💜🎉

🎉 HopeKids Families! 🎉

Next Sunday is Generation Sunday, and we have something extra special planned!

During both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services, we’re inviting all HopeKids that are entering kindergarten & up to join our worship team on stage at the end of worship as we sing “Lace Up Your Boots” together!

After worship, we’ll take time to pray over all of our students as they head into a new school year. We can’t wait to celebrate this special moment as a church family.

🌟 HOPE KIDS LEADER SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Today we’re celebrating Karime Gutierrez, one of the amazing teachers who helps make Hope Kids such a safe and welcoming place for our families! ❤️

Karime is an Odessa native, proud Odessa Broncho AND Red Raider! She graduated from Texas Tech in 2021 with her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science and now works as a Deputy Court Clerk at the Municipal Court.
She’s a middle child, her sisters are her best friends, and she has a BIG family. In fact, she’s actually been an aunt for more than 20 years! When she isn’t serving, you might find her horseback riding, baking, planning a cruise or Disney World trip, binge-watching a show, or hanging out with her three dogs and leopard gecko. 🐾🦎

A few of Karime’s favorites:
❤️ Color: Red

🍫 Sweet Snack: Anything chocolate!
🥤 Drink: Dr Pepper or Purple Powerade
🎁 Love Language: Gifts

Her favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 16:14:
“Do everything in love.”

And that verse fits the heart behind why Karime serves so beautifully.

When asked why she chose Hope Kids, Karime shared that she wanted to be a safe person for parents and caregivers. She understands how intimidating it can feel to walk into a new church and trust someone else with your child. Her desire is for parents to know their children are safe, loved, and cared for so they can worship and receive the Word of God without worrying about them. 🤍
She also recognizes just how important it is to disciple children while they’re young and remind them that they are a heritage from the Lord.
One of her favorite parts of serving has been watching children grow. She loves seeing babies and kids who once came in shy, nervous, or scared begin to open up, participate in worship, and engage in their lessons. 🥹
Karime, thank you for loving our Hope Kids and their families so well. The safety, consistency, and love you provide may seem like simple acts of service, but they create an opportunity for entire families to encounter Jesus.
We are so thankful you’re part of the Hope Kids family! ❤️

🌟 HOPE KIDS TEACHER SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Today we’re celebrating Allyson who is one of our incredible Hope Kids teachers! 💗

She is currently a student at Odessa College pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, with hopes of attending law school in the future.

She’s also a mom, has worked at Cowboy Prime in Midland for the past three years, and is part of the Permian Basin Journeys homeschool program. When she’s not studying, working, or serving, you might find her learning Spanish (heavy on the trying 😂) or roller skating with her daughter! 🛼💕
A few of her favorites:

Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:15:
“She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.”
She says this verse is especially meaningful because it reminds her of her daughter.

When asked why she chose to serve in Hope Kids, she shared that she grew up helping with Mother’s Day Out programs, and after becoming a mom herself, Hope Kids felt like the perfect place to serve.

But what we love most is what God has done since she said yes.
She shared that she grew up in a non-believing household, so in many ways, she feels like she is learning right alongside the kids. She went from never having people around her pray over her or for her to now being entrusted to pray over, teach, and pour the Word of God into children.
And we’ve had the privilege of watching that transformation happen. ❤️

When she first joined our team, she was timid and most comfortable serving with our younger children. Little by little, she stepped outside of her comfort zone, moved into our older classrooms, and discovered a genuine passion for teaching.
Today, the once-timid leader who walked through our doors has become a bold teacher of the Word, confidently helping children know Jesus and understand His truth.
We are SO proud of her. Not just for the leader she has become, but for her willingness to keep saying yes when God calls her beyond her comfort zone.
And while she admits she may still be a little shy with the adults, the Hope Kids have apparently become her new BFFs… whether they agreed to it or not! Lol
We love watching God grow our leaders right alongside the children they serve. That’s what Hope Kids is all about. 💗

Today our Hope Kids learned that just as Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem one brick at a time, God builds our character one wise choice at a time. Every brick on this wall represents a commitment to honor God this week.

❤️And just remember…each one of these children are uniquely designed. They are living stones being divinely shaped for a purpose only THEY can fulfill. No one else fits where YOUR child does.❤️
