Brothers and Sisters,
I invite all of you who are baptized professing believers to join us this Sunday for observance of the Lord's Supper. However, I feel I must remind all of us to remember Paul's admonition from 1 Corinthians 15 where he says the following:

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world

Thus, we must remove any obstacle, sin, or mindset that comes between us and Christ, or is more at home in the KIngdom of Darkness than the Kingdom of LIght. Remember the price that was paid for you to have eternal life.

Brothers and Sisters,

Just pondering today. We all know we are spiritually blind before we know Christ. But just how spritually blind are those who reject Jesus?
When someone goes blind they at least have a reference point. IF you have lost your sight but can remember what you can understand with previous sensory input. If you smell a loaf of bread, you can see it in your mind. If you hear a trumpet, you can see it and a musician in your mind. If you feel a box, you trace out its edges and imagine a box.
But what if you are born blind and have no point of reference? We spiritually are all born blind until God reveals Himself to us. We may think we know love, joy, and goodness, but can we really know these things without knowing God. An atheists may argue yes, but if they are still spiritually blind can you even imagine true love, true joy, true peace in the eternal God-given sense, let alone true faith? God's grace is a gift. If you have been born blind and someone gives you a gift of any kind, you can feel it, smell it, and maybe hear it, but you cannot visualize it and thus cannot fully know its truth.
But with God, He gives one sight, wisdom and understanding to really know the truth of the gift of grace and mercy in Jesus Christ when we come to Him in repentance and faith.

Brothers and sisters, my phone is dying. Can't hear anything and it won't charge. Probably dying. May need new phone.
