Christ Driven Church Christ Driven Church These are exciting times in which we are living today. We are blessed with the privilege to serve God’s people through Christ Driven Church.

Our calling came at a time when we were searching for direction from our Lord Jesus concerning our need for a house of worship in which the Bible is taught and a place where we could grow spiritually. We prayed about this need and God’s calling for 40 days. We fellowship with song and praise for our Lord Jesus Christ, we held bible studies and prayed for God’s blessings for the start of the church

. We wanted to be sure that this calling to start a church came from God. We ended our 40 days prayer at Billy Graham’s Library in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 9, 2009. With our close friends and family we took the 8 hour, 435 mile drive from Maryland to North Carolina, along the way we sang praise songs and shared God’s Word with each other. We shared our burden with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association prayer warriors, and they prayed for us regarding the desire to start a church. Then on September 6, 2009 we held our first church service. It was a Spirit filled time of worship and fellowship. We are humbly following the lead of the Holy Spirit as in Zechariah 4:6 “So He said to me, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.” And thus we continue on this Journey to share the message of Salvation through Jesus Christ. And we will be blessed if you would like to join us on this journey, come and visit and hear God’s Word, Believe, and be Saved. God Bless You My Friends.

John 14:23-24 (NKJV) 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

Those who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior will only find out that Jesus is real by observing us who believe, and that is why obedience is imperative. Jesus must be real in our lives. We show the love of Christ by loving Him. And to love Jesus is to keep His commandments. For our love for Jesus is evidenced by our obedience. My friends, is your love for Jesus clearly noticeable? Are you keeping Jesus’ commandments? Is Jesus real to you? It is so very important for your witness.

Galatians 6:2 (NKJV) Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

We are to help other brothers and sisters in Christ with their temptations, trials, tribulations, problems, struggles and all other issues of life. We are not to just watch them fail and criticize them. We are to help them in every possible way. This would truly show that we love one another because when we do bear one another’s burden we show that we have the love of Christ in us.

Galatians 6:10 (NKJV) Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Do good. Do what is right. Do what is pleasing in God’s sight. But know this, you can only please God if you have Christ. Have you come to the Lord Jesus Christ in repentance and acceptance? If not, then no matter how good you might be, you cannot please God. Because your sins separates you from God. You can’t be comfortable in your sins. You can’t be living a life of sin. You can’t be loving your sin because the world calls your sin good. No, as long as you are a sinner you cannot please God. You need to be reconciled with God. You need Jesus. You need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then you are going to do good and please God.

Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Jesus has the authority because He is God. Jesus tells us to go and make disciples. That is to bring people to Christ. We are to share the message of salvation. We are to get the Word out. People need Jesus. But they will need to come to Jesus in repentance and acceptance. But how are they going to do that if they do not understand their need? And that the Lord Jesus Christ has met their need. Are you doing your part to bring the message of salvation to a world of lost people? That is what is important.

Isaiah 48:17-19 (NKJV) 17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. 18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. 19 Your descendants also would have been like the sand, And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off Nor destroyed from before Me.”

Although, the people of Israel had rejected their Messiah, God is faithful. God is not done with Israel. God made His chosen people a promise. And God is going to keep it. God is going to bring the faithful remnant of Israel back to Him. All that you see that is going on in this world is moving towards that day when the people of Israel will turn to Christ in repentance and acceptance. They will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah, and He will be their God. Then they will enjoy peace, righteousness, fertility, and fellowship with Him in His Kingdom here on earth and for all eternity. My friends, you can have the same joy if you would come to Jesus in repentance and acceptance. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).

Psalm 119:64 (NKJV) The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy; Teach me Your statutes.

God is love and the earth is full of God’s love. You can see God’s love in His creation. And likewise, you can see God in His creation. There is none with an excuse for not knowing that God exists. God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. And it is filled with God’s love.

What quality do people know you best for? Do they say you are honest? How about helpful or kind or generous or caring? These are names you earn by the kind of person you are. You carry the name that you make for yourself. “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches.”

Revelation 21:6-7 (NKJV) 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gives us this promise, “I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” My friends, when you are ready to give up your sins, you can come to Christ in repentance and acceptance. But don’t think that you have forever to do so. And if right now you are comfortable in your sins, and you love your sins, and you don’t care because the world calls your sins good. Then your sins already condemns you to hell. You are rebelling against God. You don’t know when Jesus is returning to pour out the wrath of God on all who rebel against Him. And you don’t know when your time on earth will be up. The time for you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior is now. Now is the time of your salvation. Don’t delay, because it may be to late.

Philippians 4:6 (NKJV) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Prayer is the remedy for anxiety. If you want a worry-free life, then pray about everything. However, this does not mean to ignore your problems and issues in life. No, this is not what the Word of God is saying. We are to pray about our problems and issues in life. And we ought to say “Amen” with action. We have to put into action the help that we prayed for. In other words, we need to do something about it. And what we do ought to be in accordance with God’s Word and it ought to be Spirit lead. Talk to God about everything in your life, then you won’t worry about anything. Bring everything to God in prayer. Tell Him everything. Tell God everything that is in your heart and on your mind so that He can help you and give you joy. Pray out of the abundance of your heart. And when you take your burdens to the Lord don’t take it back from Him. Leave your burdens in God’s hand. Trust in God. That is what God wants us to do. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” My friends, before you say “Amen,” thank God for helping you.
