On Saturday, June 27th at 2pm there will be a Celebration of Life for Sandra Lee O'Neal followed by a potluck reception in the Rec Hall. Please help us in supporting the family by bringing dishes and desserts to the Rec Hall starting at 1pm. 📣 Calling bakers, cooks, and helpers for this year’s July 4th Cookout to celebrate OUMC’s 83rd birthday! Cooks will be preparing the items listed below and bakers are asked to individually wrap items (1 slice of cake/pie or 2 cookies/brownies per bag). 📣 Volunteers also needed to set up, cleanup, serve, and decorate! CONGRATULATIONS + SCHOLARSHIPS + SPECIAL SERVICE: Please join us in celebrating the 2026 graduating class as they walk the stage today. We are excited to award three graduating seniors with scholarships this evening, as the members and visitors OUMC generously donated $4000 to our scholarship fund to support the bright futures of these graduates! Please join us on Sunday as we lift them up in a special service. May God bless you and keep you and lead you in paths of righteousness, for God has plans not of destruction but of hope and a prosperous future.

Yesterday our Soul Seeds Food Garden had some pretty special little helpers! Ms. Angela brought her first grade class over to talk about composting and gardening. They planted sweet potato slips and peppermint seeds, watered the garden, fertilized the plants with bone meal, made pinecone bird-feeders, got really dirty, and even learned a song to sing. Thank you to our very special little gardeners!
