On Monday we lost another beloved member. Alan Abeld passed away from complications of diabetes. A memorial service for him will be held at the end of January. Watch this page and the church website for information.

We are sad to announce that Richard Wrubbel has also passed away. His funeral will be with his wife Ruth’s funeral on Wednesday, December 17th. The visitation begins at 9:30 a.m., the double funeral will follow at 11a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Stone Bank. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
A luncheon reception in the church fellowship hall will follow the burial.

With sadness, we share the passing of longtime St. John’s member, Ruth Wrubbel. The visitation will be held at St. John’s on December 17th at 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11a.m.. The burial will take place at the St. John’s Cemetery after the funeral. A lunch will be served in the church fellowship hall following the burial.
