For students at St. Jerome Parish School, praying the Angelus Prayer at noon is a meaningful school tradition because it briefly brings the entire community together in prayer. It gives students a chance to stop, be still, remember God's presence, and reflect on Mary's “yes” to God and the coming of Jesus into the world. It also connects the ordinary rhythm of the school day with the Catholic tradition of setting aside time for prayer.

Today marked the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year, we want to take a moment to pause and lift our students, teachers, and entire school community up in prayer. May we begin this new year with open hearts, grateful spirits, and God’s guidance every step of the way.

"The Totus Tuus teen program wrapped up at the end of July with a little friendly competition... Deacon Adam Widder and Father David Drefcinski from St Therese of Lisieux Parish in Watertown competed in a game of shaving cream wiffle ball with the teens. It's difficult to say who won, but everyone had some good clean fun!

Thanks to the Diocese of Madison's Totus Tuus team, led by our very own Michael Milbrath for a great week!"

Today, please pray for Amanda Contreras-Tadych as she continues her education this Fall at Creighton University.

What a memorable end of the year for the 8th grade class of 2026! From walking through history in Washington D.C. on their class trip during our nation's 250th anniversary year, to celebrating graduation surrounded by family, friends, and teachers, these students have made their final few weeks truly special. 🎓💚

We are incredibly proud of this class and all they have accomplished. Congratulations, graduates! May God bless you as you begin the next chapter of your journey.

In thanks for supporting their fundraising efforts this year, as a lasting gift to the school, the class proudly donated a new outdoor volleyball net so current and future students can build friendships and make memories for years to come.
