What a beautiful name it is. What a holy God we worship.

This week, may we be reminded that God is not common, ordinary, or distant. He is holy, worthy, and completely set apart — and yet through Jesus, He has drawn near to us.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.”

As we sang What a Beautiful Name into Agnus Dei, our prayer is that our hearts would be filled again with awe for who God is and worship for all He has done.

As we come to the end of this week, maybe you’ve walked through moments where God has felt quiet, distant, or hard to see.

But His faithfulness has never depended on our ability to feel His presence.

He is still near.
Still working.
Still holding you.
Still faithful.

Scripture reminds us, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

So whatever this week has held, don’t mistake silence for absence. The same God who has carried you before is with you here again.

Take a moment today to worship, to trust, and to remember: you are never alone in His presence.

We love you, OCC. Finish the week resting in the faithfulness of God. đź’™

This week, don’t forget the goodness of God.

In the middle of the stress, the questions, the waiting, and the ordinary moments of life, God is still faithful. His goodness isn’t dependent on our circumstances — it’s who He is.

Take a moment today to look back and remember the ways He has carried you, provided for you, comforted you, and stayed close to you.

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.” — Psalm 23:6

Church, may this song be our reminder this week: God has been good, God is good, and God will continue to be faithful. 🌊

There are some opportunities we only get on this side of eternity.

Pastor Ben reminded us last Sunday that our opportunity to suffer for Christ is now—because one day, in His presence, there will be no more pain, no more suffering, and no more persecution.

So while we’re here, may we be found faithful—boldly following Jesus no matter the cost.

We can’t wait to continue through the book of Acts tomorrow as we keep moving through Acts 8 together.

There’s something special about gathering together, worshiping Jesus, opening His Word, and being reminded that we were never meant to follow Him alone.

And the best part? We get to do it again this weekend.
