Our Story

Shiloh Church is a protestant, pentecostal church founded in April 1964 by Pastor Mance Buchanon and First Lady Ethel Buchanon. We are part of a larger denomination called the Church of God in Christ. We currently offer opportunities for worship, bible study and community service in the city of Oceanside, CA. We are a loving multicultural church that welcomes persons from all walks of life. We currently serve the community of Oceanside in the following endeavors: Monthly Food Distributions, Toys for Tots, Nursing Home Visitation, Good News Club (After School Program), Quarterly Homeless Ministry to Brother Bennos, and much more! Our goal is to be “A Church After God’s Own Heart” by following the scriptures in Mark 12:30-31. “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” Join us on Wednesday’s for Bible Study at 7pm or for Worship Sunday Morning at 11am. God bless you and thanks for visiting our page!
