How big are your prayers? šŸ¤”
When Abraham stood before God to plead for the city of S***m in Genesis 18, he didn’t pray a small, comfortable prayer. He did something remarkable: he negotiated with the Creator of the universe.
He was incredibly bold, yet deeply humble ("though I am nothing but dust and ashes").
What gave him the audacity to pray like that? He knew who he was talking to. He knew God was perfectly just, but also overwhelmingly loving. He was looking for a way to let mercy triumph over judgment.
Abraham walked away because he couldn't find even ten righteous people to save the city. But the beautiful truth of the Gospel is that we have what Abraham was looking for. 1 Peter 3:18 tells us that Christ, the ultimate righteous person, suffered once for the unrighteous to bring us to God.
Because of Jesus, we don’t have to shrink back. We are deeply loved, highly valued, and invited to ask God for big things.

Sometimes we laugh not because we believe… but because we think God’s promises are impossible.

Sarah’s laughter began with unbelief šŸ˜”
Then years of waiting turned desire into obsession ā³
But in the end, God turned her laughter into joy and salvation šŸ™Œ

What if the very thing you’ve stopped believing God for… is the thing He is still able to do?

On the road to Emmaus, the disciples missed Jesus because they were looking for a political hero. But Jesus showed them that the entire Bible—every law, every prophet, every story—is actually about Him. šŸ“–šŸ”„
He is the True Passover Lamb, the Rock in the desert, and the King who won the victory we never could. šŸ›”ļøāœļø Our hearts don’t burn because of our own efforts; they burn when we see the finished work of Christ.

Stop looking for a moral lesson and start looking for the Risen Lord who walks beside you today! šŸ™ŒāœØ

If everything you’re building today was gone tomorrow, what would you have left?šŸ›ļøā³

The disciples pointed at the "beautiful stones" of the temple. Jesus saw dust. šŸ’Ø
We spend so much energy polishing the "stones" of our lives—our status, our careers, our comforts. But if these things are destined to fall, why do we treat them as if they’re eternal? šŸ’ŽšŸ“‰

In our study of Luke 21, we looked at the Second Coming not as a scare tactic, but as the ultimate restoration of justice. āš–ļø As C.S. Lewis put it, we need to "dress our souls" for the daylight of the next world, rather than the flickering "electric lights" of this one. šŸ’”āž”ļøā˜€ļø

The real question isn’t just ā€œwhenā€He is coming. The question is: Which world are you actually living for?** šŸŒāœØ

No marriage in heaven… but don’t mistake that for less love.

Jesus reminds us that eternity isn’t a downgrade of what we have here—it’s the fulfillment of it. šŸ’«
The love we experience in marriage is just a shadow, a glimpse of something far greater.

In heaven, love won’t be limited, divided, or threatened by time.
It will be pure, complete, and centered perfectly in God. ā¤ļø

No more fear of losing the people we love.
No more brokenness, jealousy, or distance.
Just perfect love—fully known, fully given, forever.

So we don’t lose love in heaven…
we finally experience it the way it was always meant to be. ✨

The revelation at the burning bush hinges on a single, powerful present-tense phrase: "I AM the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." šŸ”„šŸ“– By refusing to use the past tense, God revealed to Moses—and to us—that He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. āœØšŸ•Šļø To the Great I AM, a promise made centuries ago is as fresh as a heartbeat today because He exists outside of time, and death has no hold on His word or His people. ā¤ļøā³ This means the same God who walked with the patriarchs is the same living God standing in your "right now," proving that He isn’t just a figure in a history book, but a present, breathing reality who is just as active in your life today as He was in the desert with Moses. šŸ™ŒšŸ›”ļø

ā€œGreat is Thy faithfulness… morning by morning new mercies I see.ā€ šŸŽ¶

Today we were reminded that while everything in this life changes—relationships, seasons, even our understanding of the future—one thing never changes: God’s faithfulness šŸ™Œ

In Luke 20:27–40, Jesus points us beyond this temporary world to an eternal reality. A life where death is no more, where eternity redefines everything, and where we are fully alive in Him ✨

And that’s why this song hits deeper…

Because the same faithful God who carries us through today’s struggles šŸ˜”
Is the One who has already secured our tomorrow šŸŒ…

We may not fully understand what eternity will look like…
But we can trust the One who holds it ā¤ļø

His faithfulness isn’t just for this life—
It stretches into eternity ā™¾ļø

So whatever you’re facing today…
Hold on. Trust Him. Look beyond. šŸ™

ā€œGreat is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!ā€ šŸŽ¶

What if everything you’re holding onto right now… won’t even matter the way you think it will in eternity? šŸ¤”

In Luke 20:27–40, Jesus is challenged with a question about marriage in the afterlife. But His answer does something deeper—it exposes how limited our thinking can be when we don’t fully understand Scripture šŸ“– or the power of God āš”ļø

We often live as if this life is everything.
Our relationships ā¤ļø, our struggles šŸ˜”, our desires šŸ’ā€”they feel ultimate.

But Jesus points to a reality far greater ✨
There is a life coming where death is gone šŸ’€āŒ, where eternity reshapes everything šŸŒ…, and where our identity is no longer defined by earthly roles… but by being children of God šŸ‘‘

Maybe the problem isn’t that we desire too much…
Maybe it’s that we settle for too little 😶

We trade eternal joy 🌟 for temporary satisfaction ā³
We cling to what’s fading šŸ‚ instead of longing for what’s forever ā™¾ļø

ā€œThe best things are yet to come.ā€ šŸ™Œ

So the real question is:
Are you living for what’s temporary… or what’s eternal? šŸ”„

Marriage And The Afterlife - Rev. Ferdie Raposas

Easter isn’t just a celebration—it’s a lifeline.

Because Jesus rose, suffering is not the end. Pain doesn’t get the final word. Death has lost its sting.

Joni Eareckson Tada once said that the hope of heaven isn’t just wishful thinking—it’s what carries the hurting through their darkest valleys. And she would know. Through paralysis and pain, her hope has never been in this life alone, but in what Christ secured through the resurrection.

That’s what Easter means.

It is hope for the broken.
Strength for the weary.
Good news for everyone.

If the tomb is empty, then your story isn’t over. āœļøāœØ

04/18/2026

This Easter, you’re not missing out on anything this world has to offer… because what’s waiting for you is far greater.

The world promises moments. Jesus promises eternity.
The world fades. His victory lasts forever.

Because He lives, your future isn’t limited to what you can see right now. There’s more joy, more peace, more life ahead than anything this world could ever give.

Don’t trade eternal glory for temporary satisfaction.
The tomb is empty—hope is alive. āœļøšŸ”„
