So Ive been thinking about the modern world a lot. And the psychology of people. I think they problem is we've lost basic social skills. So, something to help that can help, especially Christians, are ways to engage with people in conversation:

1) When directing a question or statement to someone, make sure they're looking at you/making eye contact with you (and not their phone). If they're not, get their attention.

2) If you want them to keep paying attention, keep them engaged by letting them talk. Don't dominate the conversation

3) Don't keep saying "what?" Focus on the person you're talking to, not other things. If you have a hearing problem, maybe conversations aren't for you.
