“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.”

The new covenant, the old covenant, the New Testament the old testament. ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8‬:‭8‬-‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/59/heb.8.8-13.ESV For he finds fault with them when he says: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.”

“We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/111/heb.2.1.NIV I have been meditating on this verse for days, and the word that really stands out is drifting away. When I’m out kayaking, it’s very subtle, but all of a sudden, I find I have drifted away, and I get scared.
What about our life if we don’t have a focal point and we drift away, and we don’t even know? Life gets chaotic, and we’re alone again, and we drifted away from The One.
We don’t even know how to come back or if we even want to. He’s urging, I said, reminding us to stay close to The Vine, stay close to The Father, the focal point always. Meditate on this word for a minute. Check your focal point.

Jesus' true identity as God is Jesus' ultimate authority. He is greater than any religion or any angel. Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV ‬ “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”

“Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Some people see good all around; well others see nothing, but evil. What is the difference? Whatever you choose to fill your mind with affects the way you think and act. Turn Your thoughts to God and Hs word, and you will discover more and more goodness, even in this evil world. A mind filled with good has little room for what is evil.

READ TWICE till yoy feel it) “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.”.
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/111/1ti.1.15-16.NIV. 1:15
----Here Paul summarizes the Good News: Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and no sinner is beyond his saving power.
(See Luke 5:32 for Jesus' purpose for being on earth.) Jesus didn't come merely to show us how to live a better life or to challenge us to be better people. He came to offer us salvation that leads to eternal life. Have you accepted his offer?
1:15 Paul calls himself "the worst" of sinners. We think of Paul as a great hero of the faith, but Paul never saw himself that way, because he remembered his life before he met Christ. The more Paul understood God's grace, the more he was aware of his own sinful-ness. Humility and gratitude should mark the life of every Christian.
Never forget that you too are a sinner saved by grace.

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“May God our Father and our Lord Jesus bring us to you very soon. And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.

He, as a result, will make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people.”

What is Paul saying here? He’s saying that if we are full of God’s love, it will overflow to others. It’s not enough to merely be courteous to others. We must actively and persistently show love to them. Our love should be growing continuously. If your capacity to love has remained unchanged for some time, ask God to fill you again with the never-ending supply, then look for opportunities to express it. Christ will gather all believers, those who have died and those who are alive, into one united family under his rule. All believers from all times. This book of Thessalonians is packed.
