Proverbs 27:12 says, “The wise man sees danger and protects himself, but the fool keeps going and suffers for it.”
The wise man not only sees the danger, but he also protects himself and others from that danger.

Men, that's who God has called us to be. A protector isn't always the loudest or most aggressive man in the room. He's simply the one who stays alert so that everyone else can relax.

We now live in a world of tremendous confusion about what it means to be a man. It’s important for us to understand that where the world is confused, God is crystal clear. So then, what does God expect from a man?

Thankfully, Paul outlines this in just two sentences. “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.

God’s love is unconditional, which makes your relationship with God the best place to meet this need. The sad truth is that the closer people get to us, the harder it can be for them to love us. But the beauty of God’s love is that His love survives full exposure. He knows the worst about you, and yet He loves you more than anyone else in this world ever will.
