When we understand that our liberty is a gift, we stop using it to justify selfish or harmful choices and start using it to honor God and love others.
This is the heart of gospel freedom: a) Free from condemnation, not free to ignore God’s standards, b) Free from the power of sin, not free to live in it, c) Free to serve God gladly, not free to serve only ourselves.
Let our lives show that real freedom is found in surrender to Christ, not in rebellion against Him.
