The school teacher made a phone call to little Johnny's parents. And she explains to the parents, "little Johnny is singing songs at the school that are inappropriate." The parents couldn't imagine what Johnny is singing. The teacher says,"I even wrote the lyrics." The lyrics read:

Have you ever been so drunk that you didn't know your name?
So intoxicated on something you can't explain?
Have you ever rolled across the floor?
Did they have to carry you home?
Let me tell you about the NEW WINE that I've been drinkin on.

I was off fb for 1 1/2 weeks because I had been locked out of my phone. Although I have learned much about the technology of cell phones and computers, I am challenged for the most part. Looking on the internet for a solution and out of much frustration and disgust, and many times being timed out, I got the bright idea to visit the Apple Store. I spent about an hour before the problem was resolved. Pressing into this complex problem finally paid off and I was so blessed to have a team of tech people that figured it out.

Doesn’t this hold true to every area of our lives?

Do we have the tenacity to press into God when we hit little bumps in life’s road? Or do we give up when things get tough?

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9

When things get difficult in life, don’t be passive. Press into God and don’t give up.

Over thirty five years ago a pastor friend was preaching one Sunday morning, and he said,”struggles are the proof you’ve not been conquered.” My friend, the Word of God says,”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

DON’T GIVE UP!!!

GOD WILL TURN THINGS AROUND FOR YOUR GOOD.

SEEK HIM.

🛑 CHURCH POST: REAL HONEST TRUTH 🛑
Don’t idolize your Pastor!!! Come to church for one reason and one reason alone - TO WORSHIP, VALUE, REVERENCE AND HONOR JESUS CHRIST, the Chief Shepherd.
Honor your Pastors yes, but don’t honor them above the Lord or obedience to the Lord. Don’t look to be recognized and promoted. Keep the main thing the main thing. Go to church to worship the King, to put your hand to the plow for the vision of the House and kingdom, to make disciples, to get in covenant through your tithe in the storehouse - and do it all unto the LORD. Go to church to lead your family spiritually and build the future in Christ that He has for you all, and to lay up eternal fruit. Go to church to get strengthened, empowered, and encouraged in the Word by the anointing to serve the Lord in the midst of life’s circumstances.

Don’t go to church just to find a spouse or make friends (even though they will come). Go to church for one reason alone - the call of God. And all these things will be added unto you!!!

Your Pastor, by God’s grace, is plowing forward on the fuel of the Holy Spirit and fire for the call. Your Pastors love you and are doing their very best. They are there to help you but they are not God. They may not do everything perfectly the way you want them to do it, or handle everything how you think they should have handled everything. They may not say everything you want them to say when and how you want them to say it. No matter what church you leave or where you go, at the next church, you will find more problems and more reasons to disagree or be offended. So go to the Church God has called you and respect and truly help your Pastor. But do remember you are there for one reason alone - to WORSHIP, REVERENCE, VALUE AND HONOR JESUS CHRIST, the Chief Shepherd. Don’t lose your awe of Him!

Seek unity, seek peace. Avoid gossip and refuse to be a busybody. Don’t receive bitterness in your spirit. Choose to love, forgive, heal, and remain broken before the Lord. That is the sacrifice that He desires.

And that is what we choose. Love you RCB family!

Good Morning!

There's a passage of scripture that says," His mercies are new every morning." We can't exhaust the resources of God. We haven't begun to tap into all that God has made available to us. THERE IS MORE.

The Word of God says in Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

I want to encourage everyone viewing this post. You may feel like you've come to a place in your life that something is blocking you from moving forward into all God has for you. KEEP HUNGERING AND THISTING FOR MORE.

Psalm 34:18 "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."

When I was a teenager my dad really stressed the importance of changing the oil in my car every 3,000 miles. There was o e time that I can remember that I went a little longer in between oil changes. The oil was very dark and when you smelled it was stinky.

Have you ever walked up to a hamburger stand or walked into a restaurant where they were cooking French fries with old oil. Wow. That place stinks like nasty.

Oil is represents the Holy Spirit. Sometimes Christian's can go too long in between fresh oil of the Holy Spirit in our lives the ability to function in life becomes a problem. Christian believers need a frequent oil change of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Are you a candidate for an oil change. The Bible says in Matthew 5:6:

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

“If you ever get discouraged and feel like you're not getting anywhere on your Christian journey, think about this: It's much easier to steer a car that's moving than one that's parked! So, get moving and let God do the steering!”
