Romans 1:16

I remember (many moons ago) how difficult (as a young person) it was for me to share my faith in high school. My Christian journey wasn’t very strong. My faith was not strong because I lived in defeat and shame. Praise God for the platform He has given me in social media and He has allowed me another chance to communicate with high school alumni and friends.

The guilt and shame is gone because Jesus Christ now enables me to live a victorious life. Praise God!

I am not missing out on life’s thrills and excitement. Life in Jesus Christ is the most thrilling adventure/journey that I’ve experienced. I used to live in the fast lane. He fills the void in my life that I once felt.

Maybe you have tried everything and never found any satisfaction in life. Has anyone told you that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life? I pray that you simply ask Christ to forgive you for sin and mistakes you have committed in your life. Say- Jesus Christ I believe God sent you into the world as a babe born of a virgin and died on the cross for my sin, and the blood you shed for me forgives all my sin. And you rose from the dead and sit at the right hand of Father God to intercede on my behalf. Because I asked you to forgive me of my sin I am born again and I’m on my way to Heaven.

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”
Hebrews 15:13 KJV

If you want to touch the heart of God, offer up Praise to Him. Some think “oh God I want to do this wonderful thing for you. Or if I just give a little more finances to the Kingdom of God.” These things are good, but, He desires to hear the praises from His kids.

Stop all the busyness of your life and praise God for who He is. When we set this as a priority in our lives, everything is put in the right perspective.

The school teacher made a phone call to little Johnny's parents. And she explains to the parents, "little Johnny is singing songs at the school that are inappropriate." The parents couldn't imagine what Johnny is singing. The teacher says,"I even wrote the lyrics." The lyrics read:

Have you ever been so drunk that you didn't know your name?
So intoxicated on something you can't explain?
Have you ever rolled across the floor?
Did they have to carry you home?

I was off fb for 1 1/2 weeks because I had been locked out of my phone. Although I have learned much about the technology of cell phones and computers, I am challenged for the most part. Looking on the internet for a solution and out of much frustration and disgust, and many times being timed out, I got the bright idea to visit the Apple Store. I spent about an hour before the problem was resolved. Pressing into this complex problem finally paid off and I was so blessed to have a team of tech people that figured it out.

Doesn’t this hold true to every area of our lives?

Do we have the tenacity to press into God when we hit little bumps in life’s road? Or do we give up when things get tough?

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9

When things get difficult in life, don’t be passive. Press into God and don’t give up.

Over thirty five years ago a pastor friend was preaching one Sunday morning, and he said,”struggles are the proof you’ve not been conquered.” My friend, the Word of God says,”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

DON’T GIVE UP!!!

GOD WILL TURN THINGS AROUND FOR YOUR GOOD.
