For over two and a half decades, churches have been paying to play the music from churches that do not preach the gospel of Jesus Christ,. These music churches preached the prosperity gospel, the road to health and wealth. They preached a God who sinned. They preached that God was not three separate entities. They preached that Jesus was not God, but a man. They preached catchy tunes with repetitive and deceptive lyrics.
Finally, the Christian community is recognizing that these churches weren't about worship or making disciples, they were about building empires via the music industry.

For two decades, Hillsong, Bethel, and Elevation built a billion-dollar worship empire that shaped how millions of Christians sang every Sunday. Now that emp...

DO YOU HAVE ANY CHILDREN IN YOUR FAMILY? PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING.

On the Maryland ballot is a suggested addition to our constitution. I am surprised there isn't much discussion about this.

Current Maryland law allows abortions up to the point of viability or beyond that point to protect the health of the woman or if the baby has a genetic defect, serious deformity, or abnormality. Also currently, the law prohibits a person from being required to perform, participate in, or make referrals for procedures for artificial insemination, sterilization, or termination of a pregnancy. Similar protections are provided to licensed hospitals, hospital directors, and hospital governing boards.

Here's the wording from the ballot:

"This amendment would amend the Maryland Constitution to confirm an individual's right to reproduction freedom, including the ability to make and effectuate decisions to prevent, continue, or end an individual's pregnancy. Additionally, the State would be prohibited from denying or burdening the right to reproductive freedom unless justified by a compelling State interest achieved by the least restrictive needs."

Here's the impact of this constitution:
1. Most of the rights under our current law would be unconstitutional - no more viability, no more freedom to not perform procedures, and no more ability to adopt new technologies or scientific progress.
2. Parents will have no rights in the reproduction decisions of their children to prohibit, continue, or end an abortion. Parents have no right to even be informed of these decisions.
3. The language does not prohibit, or allow the state to prohibit post-delivery termination.
4. Finally, we have seen how politicians change the meaning of words, so how will they define "reproduction freedom" beyond the implications of this. Will it include gender "affirming" procedures for children. Will taxpayers have to fund these procedures for the incarcerated?

Part 15, the final part of the series Christian Deception will be available Sunday April 30, 2023, at 8:00AM. WEE discuss the assurance of being saved, that is, knowing you will be with God for all eternity. Our scripture references will be:

• 1 John 5:13 (NASB) 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

• 1 John 2:3-6 (NASB) 3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

• 1 John 3:11-15 (NASB) 11 For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; 12 not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

• 1 John 3:16-18 (NASB) 16 We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

• 1 John 2:22-23 (NASB) 22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

• Matthew 12:31 (NASB) 31 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

Part 14 of our series on Christian Deception will be available Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 8:00AM. We will ,discuss false teachers and judging. Our scripture references will be:

• Matthew 7:22-23 (NASB) 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

• Matthew 7:15-20 (NASB) 15 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 "So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 "So then, you will know them by their fruits.

• Matthew 7:1 1 "Do not judge so that you will not be judged.

• Matthew 7:2-5 (NASB) 2 "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. 3 "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? 5 "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

• Titus 2:11-12 (NASB) 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,

• Jude 1:4 (NASB) 4 For certain persons have crept i
n unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

• 2 Peter 2:1-2 (NASB) 1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;
