Because of faithful churches, generous hearts, and a shared passion for seeing students grow in Christ, lives are being changed each summer through the ministry of Christian Youth Conference. We are so grateful for your support, prayers, and partnership in pointing the next generation toward Jesus. ❤️

🎉 IT’S PARTY TIME, C*C!!! 🎉

Because of the incredible BBSU Grant, camp just became more accessible for so many students!! 🙌🌊☀️

The cost of camp has officially dropped from $1400 ➡️ $1050 per person and we could not be more excited about what this means for this summer!

We truly believe God is going to move in BIG ways at camp this year, and now even more students have the opportunity to experience it 💛

Meet our 2026 Chaplain Steven!

Steven Canfield has travelled and ministered through creative teaching and renewal environments to children, youth, college students and adults in all fifty states except Hawaii. He and his wife Christy live in Pittsfield, Massachusetts with their son Silas who is fourteen. Their oldest daughter, Grace, is twenty six and lives close by in Pittsfield as well. Their three middle children live in Pittsburgh, PA and Chicago, IL. Steven is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Pittsfield, MA where he pastors a historic, downtown church with a surprising Christian imagination for the good of the city! Steven enjoys playing and watching basketball, listening to and writing modern folk music, finding cool coffee shops anywhere possible, jotting ideas, songs and quotes in little
notebooks, and teaching the Scriptures in hopeful and humorous ways wherever he finds himself…especially Hawaii (fingers crossed).

Our new Judson director is…🥁🥁🥁🥁

✨Jay Brewster✨

Jay was raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where his faith journey began at First Baptist Church. It was there that he built a strong foundation in Christ and discovered his passion for music as a member of the children’s choir.

In 1998, Jay joined NEBYC as a first-year camper and later returned to serve on staff for four years after completing his time as a camper. His commitment to faith, music, and mentorship continued to grow over the years.

In 2010, Jay embraced one of his greatest roles—fatherhood—with the birth of his daughter, Gianna. Throughout this time, he remained actively involved at First Baptist Church, singing in the chancel choir, serving on the Board of Christian Education, teaching Sunday school, and eventually stepping into a worship leadership role.

Professionally, Jay works as the Manager of the Finishing and Production Department at G&B Photography, while also pursuing his passion for music as a DJ, hosting weekly karaoke nights and private events.

After a 20-year absence, Jay returned to C*C in 2025 as Music Director, bringing with him years of experience and a deep love for the ministry. C*C has always held a special place in his heart, and he is honored to serve this year as the Judson Director.

Due to extremely low numbers in registration for snapshot, we have chosen to cancel it for this year. We are so sad that we have to do this. We do still have planning committee in the morning if you would like to attend!
