As you consider how to help those in areas effected by Hurricane Helene, make sure your efforts go toward legitimate people and organizations that are actually going to reach those in need. Our church family donated this week to local police/fire department efforts and now are turning our attention to another local organization working directly with people on the ground for specific needs. We will be collecting gently used clothes and shoes this Sunday (10/6/24) at church to give to Wings of Hope of BC. Coats are also welcome as the temperatures in the area have already started to fall. You can also make an monetary offering on Sunday and we can use it to buy additional items to donate.
