Crow's Crossroads Shoppe is where the paths of earth based spiritual practices meet and we support , teach, and supply our community . It is the Home of the Goddess Temple of Ocala and offers classes, readings and other events during the month. We have many metaphysical items, jewelry, incense, naturals stones and crystals, tarot decks, herbs, Cedar beads specialty soaps and apparel .We welcome inquiries and special orders.

Litha, the Summer Solstice, arrives when the sun reaches its greatest strength and daylight stretches longer than any other day of the year. Fields stand full, flowers open wide, and the world feels alive with warmth, movement, and abundance.

At first glance, Litha looks like a celebration of victory.

Light has won.

Old traditions understood something even deeper.

Litha is not only about reaching fullness. It is about understanding that nothing stays at its peak forever.

From this point onward, the days slowly begin to shorten again.

That is the hidden wisdom of the solstice.

The brightest day of the year also marks the beginning of the return of darkness.

Not as punishment.

As balance.

Ancient people celebrated this turning point with bonfires, dancing, flowers, herbs, feasting, and rituals of protection and prosperity. Fires were lit on hilltops to honour the strength of the sun and to carry its energy into the coming months. People gathered herbs believed to be especially potent under solstice light, gathering abundance while the earth was overflowing.

For witches, Litha became a powerful time for solar magic, confidence work, manifestation, gratitude, creativity, and charging tools beneath the sun.

But spiritually, Litha asks something even more important.

Can you enjoy what you have created without immediately fearing its end?

Can you stand in your own light without shrinking from it?

Can you celebrate growth without rushing toward the next thing?

The sun reaches its highest point and still continues its journey.

There is no clinging.

Only movement.

Litha reminds us that fullness is not something to fear.

You are allowed to take up space.

You are allowed to enjoy the season you worked to reach.

When the wheel turns again, you will meet that season too.

Good Morning Tribe,

YouTube has been putting up stories to listen to. I am a fan of audio books. Currently I am relistening to He Who Fights With Monsters on Audible. I am also listening to the Free stories on YouTube, science fiction, Fantasy, Isekai and Manhwa. I dare you to google some of these odd Japanese words.

Some of the only redeeming qualities of my grade school teachers was the time we had story time. Awesomeness, even the evil teachers that would read to us hold a special place in my memories.

If your missing story time that makes you like me. Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do. While I drive or am working in the yard I can listen to stories. There seems to be an endless amount of them.

Do what makes you happy, be kind to your inner child.

Today I came across an article discussing recent changes to the Department of Defense's religious affiliation system.

The Department of Defense has reduced its list of recognized faith codes from more than 200 designations to 31. This does not prevent anyone from practicing their faith, nor does it remove religious freedom from service members or veterans. However, many minority faith traditions—including Pagan, Wiccan, Heathen, Druid, Humanist, and others—are no longer individually recognized within the coding system.

For many people, recognition is about more than a label. It is about visibility, representation, and ensuring that diverse spiritual paths are acknowledged within the institutions that serve our communities.

Regardless of personal beliefs or political perspectives, we believe every service member and veteran deserves to have their faith recognized and respected. The men and women who serve come from many backgrounds, traditions, and walks of life, and that diversity is something worth honoring.
