Hope for Haiti

Harvest is honored to share “Hope for Haiti,” a new song created through a meaningful collaboration between our missionary, Dr. Don DeVito, and his dear friend and colleague, Dr. José Valentino—a four-time Latin GRAMMY® Award winner with four additional nominations.
Dr. DeVito lends his voice to this beautiful piece, with Dr. Valentino producing the music, as a tribute to the extraordinary Gertrude Bien-Aimé and her lifetime of service to children with disabilities in Haiti.
Through the Haitian Center for Inclusive Education (Institution Mixte Inclusive D’Haïti) and Notre Maison Orphanage, Gertrude has devoted her life to serving children, creating opportunities, and bringing hope to some of Haiti’s most vulnerable.
Our hope is that “Hope for Haiti” will help bring greater awareness to Gertrude’s remarkable work and to the children she has faithfully served throughout her life.
We are grateful to Dr. DeVito and Dr. Valentino for using their gifts and talents to create music with a purpose—and to shine a light on a mission that reaches far beyond the music itself.
