The New 27th Avenue Church of Christ We are not a Denomination, for this reason, we are not interested in man-made creeds, but simply in the New Testament pattern. Compromise cannot bring unity.

We are simply members of the Church which Jesus established and which He died for. We believe the only way to achieve unity is to return to the Bible. So churches of Christ plead for religious unity based upon the Bible with no additions nor subtractions from God's Word (Gal. 1: 6-9; Rev. 22: 18,19). Matt. 16:18, Rom. 16:16.

It is with profound sadness that we remember and honor the life of Dr. Douglas Howie, Sr., who faithfully served Southwestern Christian College as Vice President of Fiscal Affairs for many years.
