Dear Supporters,

On behalf of our founders and board, I am pleased to announce that Guyana Mission Outreach Program has a new name and a new look! Starting today, Ascension Day, we are now known as Guyana Outreach! or GO! for short.

Why GO!? Because it is a simple yet elegant summation of Christ’s directive to all who believe in Him:

GO! Make disciples of all nations!
Matthew 28:19

This verse kicked off our rebranding announcements on Sunday. Together with Jesus’ call to make all disciples fishers of men, they are the twin pillars that form our foundation.

Yes, the exclamation mark is part of our official name! We believe that it captures the zeal and urgency of carrying out His instruction in today’s culture. Let it be a simple reminder every time you read our name.

Guyana Outreach! is now on Instagram and LinkedIn, in addition to our Facebook and web site presence. We wanted to spread the word across as many social and professional media channels as possible. Please visit the links below and subscribe to receive updates as we post new content and information in the coming weeks and months.

We invite you to GO! into the future with us as we seek to serve and support ministry efforts in Guyana and beyond. Spread the word! And explore all the ways you can participate in this work.

2020 End of Year Newsletter
December 2020

Hello Prayer Partners and Supporters of Guyana Mission,

How quickly we came to the end of another year, one that will be in our memories for years to come.

As these words are penned comprising the year-end report of our mission outreach the FDA is meeting to give the Pfizer vaccine emergency approval. My thoughts as I open this report is how much we have to thank God in giving man the wisdom enabling them to come up with this protection so quickly.

Pandemic is a brand-new word to us this year as we finally come to realize Covid-19 is a worldwide occurrence; the task ahead is enormous.

God, through your prayers and faithful giving opened the door for some modest accomplishments which include additional projects while taking precautionary measures to protecting ourselves.

Existing Covid-19 conditions halted ongoing operations such as raising meat birds and cancellation of all camping activities however with one door closed there is always others to open, when we look to Him for wisdom, knowledge, and guidance .

The term “Lemon” is often used to denote something of negative value; example your car is a “lemon” which means the car is not functioning as intended. However, these same lemons do make lemonade a very refreshing drink, with Covid-19 we are challenged similarly to explore other options.

With the help of our faithful staff, together we campaigned hard and repeatedly to raise funds for the Education of Vickram Mohabir and Evans Nyariki Nyamwaya. This was accomplished by God’s grace and your involvement which amounted to $4.5K+ for Vickram and $0.75K+ for Evans Nyariki. We praise God for His blessings in touching the hearts of so many to respond to this great need: Thank You!

At the beginning of the year, proposal was presented by Bro Vickram to look into the possibility of planting Lemon trees between the existing coconut palms that surrounds the campground. Assuring us that the need for lemons are crucial, the market appears inviting. Soon after that presentation, Covid-19 made its presence known resulting in the lockdown period.

Presently Bro Vickram’s proposal is currently in effect as Phase 1 of the project, lemon trees are planted on the entire highway boundary with the ultimate goal in completely encircling the campground of 114 acres, the pictures seen with this report shows the start-up of the Lemon Project despite existing limitations.

Objectives of the “Lemon Project” is similar to the Chicken Project “raising funds for the completion of the Electrical Project, currently in its third year”.

Expect exciting news of Guyana Missions to be announced soon; please be steadfast in prayer for God’s wisdom and guidance as we continue this great work together.

Blessings at Christmas and throughout the New Year.

Since it s tax deductible, would you spend 15.00 to stop a su***de? In Guyana, South America, education is another painful statistic of su***de. Large numbers of especially Hindu youth die by drowning. The reason? They failed to meet an academic goal they, the loved ones ...
