As summer comes to a close and families settle back into their daily routines, it’s a good time to pause and take a look at our homes.

Are we making space for prayer? Are we creating rhythms that help our families grow closer to God and to one another?

Community Starts With Us
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.” Hebrews 10:24

It is easy to think of community as something we find.

The right church.
The right friends.
The right group of people who understand us.

But Scripture gives us another picture. We are called to consider one another, to pay attention, to encourage, and to look for ways to help each other grow.

Community doesn't happen simply because we are in the same room. It happens when we choose to notice the person beside us.

Someone may need an encouraging word.
Someone may need a helping hand.
Someone may simply need to know they aren't alone.

We don't have to do something extraordinary. Sometimes community begins with a simple decision to make room for someone else.

💭 Reflection Question:
Who has God placed around me that may need encouragement, friendship, or a helping hand?

🙏 Guided Prayer:
Lord, help me to see the people around me the way You see them. Give me a heart that notices, a willingness to serve, and the courage to reach beyond my comfort zone. Help me create the kind of community where others feel loved and welcomed.

Our love for one another is part of our witness.

Community isn't just about having people around us. It's about creating a place where people experience the love of Christ through the way we treat, serve, encourage, and care for one another.

When we love well, people see Jesus.

This week, look for one opportunity to show His love in a practical way.
Who can you encourage? Who can you serve? Who can you invite in?

Sometimes outreach begins with simply making someone feel seen.

Thankfulness Changes Everything

“In every thing give thanks.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

GRATITUDE SHAPES OUR PERSPECTIVE

It's easy to focus on what we don't have.

But Scripture calls us to remember what God has already done.

Thankfulness shifts our attention from our circumstances to God's faithfulness.

And when we remember His goodness, we find renewed joy, renewed hope, and renewed purpose.

A thankful heart doesn't ignore life's difficulties, it chooses to trust that God is still at work.

What are three things you can thank God for today?

Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness in every season.

Throughout Scripture, we see that God uses our stories to encourage others and strengthen faith. The same is true today. Many women have experienced God's faithfulness through their obedience in giving to Mother's Memorial...whether through unexpected provision, a deepened trust in God, or the joy of seeing lives impacted around the world.

Generosity Reflects the Heart of Christ

“Freely ye have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:8

WE GIVE BECAUSE HE GAVE

Jesus never held back His love, His compassion, or His grace.

Everything He did was marked by generosity.

As His followers, we are called to reflect that same heart.

Whether through our time, our encouragement, our prayers, or our resources, generosity is one of the ways we show others who Christ is.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer is simply being available to someone in need.
