Missions doesn't always look like getting on a plane.

We are all part of the mission field, both here and afar.

The question is not whether we are called to be part of the mission.

It's how God is asking you to be part of it.

THE MISSION FIELD NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS

Before Jesus told His disciples to go, He told them to pray.

There is something powerful about knowing that our prayers can reach places our feet may never touch.

There are missionaries waking up today in places we've never visited.

There are churches being planted.
Families adjusting to new cultures.
People hearing the Gospel for the first time.

And we can pray for them.

We can pray for open doors, prepared hearts, wisdom, protection, strength, and revival.

Prayer may feel like a small thing compared to traveling across the world, but Jesus told His disciples to start there.

The harvest still needs laborers.

And the laborers still need people praying for them.

đź’­ Reflection Question:
When was the last time I intentionally prayed for someone serving in missions?

🙏 Guided Prayer:
Lord, send laborers into Your harvest. Strengthen every missionary and family serving around the world. Open doors for the Gospel, prepare hearts to receive Your Word, and remind those who serve that they are never alone.

God's heart has always been for the nations.

Missions isn't simply about traveling to another country. It is about joining God in reaching people everywhere with the Gospel.

There are people around the world who have never heard the name of Jesus. There are communities waiting for churches, families, and believers willing to answer the call.

And we get to be part of it.

Pray for the nations. Pray for missionaries. Pray about how God wants you to participate.

The call is bigger than any one of us, but every one of us has a part to play.

What would happen if we stopped looking at marriage simply as something to maintain and started looking at it as a place where we become more like Jesus?

YOU CAN BE PART OF THE CALL

Not everyone will stand behind a pulpit in another country.

Not everyone will become a missionary.

But every one of us can help send the Gospel.

Paul reminded the church that those who preach need someone to send them. Missions has always been a work we do together.

Some go.
Some give.
Some pray.
Some encourage.

And every part matters.

Your prayers can strengthen someone serving far from home. Your generosity can help provide what a missionary needs. Your encouragement can remind a family on the field that they haven't been forgotten.

You may not be the one going, but you can still have a part in the going.

How can I intentionally support someone who has answered God's call to missions?

🙏 Guided Prayer:
Lord, thank You for allowing me to be part of Your mission. Show me how I can pray, give, encourage, and support those who are serving around the world. Help me never underestimate what You can do through a willing heart.

These aren't just words on a graphic. They are reminders of what God can do with a willing heart.

You may not feel qualified. You may not know exactly where He's leading. You may even wonder if you have what it takes.

But God doesn't call us and then leave us to figure it all out on our own.

He calls us.
He chooses us.
He appoints us.
And He equips us.

MISSIONS ISN’T JUST FOR MISSIONARIES

When we hear the word missions, we often picture someone packing their bags, moving across the world, and stepping into a new culture.

And God does call some people to go.

But the call to share the Gospel belongs to every believer.

You may not be called to another country. You may be called to your neighborhood, your workplace, your school, or your own family.

The mission field isn't always somewhere far away.

Sometimes it is the person sitting across the table from you.

Sometimes it is the neighbor you've been meaning to invite to church.

Sometimes it is the person God keeps bringing to your mind.

Wherever God has placed you, there are people who need to know about Jesus.

đź’­ Reflection Question:
Who has God placed in my everyday life that I can intentionally reach with His love?

🙏 Guided Prayer:
Lord, help me see the people around me as opportunities to share Your love. Give me courage to speak, compassion to listen, and wisdom to know when to reach out. Help me faithfully live out the mission You have given me right where I am.

The one who checks in.
The one who saves you a seat.
The one who prays with you.
The one who notices when something isn't right.
The one who reminds you that you don't have to walk through life alone.

We all need community, but we also have the opportunity to be community for someone else.

This week, be the friend who reaches out first. Send the text. Make the invitation. Say the encouraging word.

Someone may need the reminder that they belong more than you realize.
