Our week in Honduras was filled with faith, new friendships, and reminders of just how powerful it is to say yes to serving.

From the people we met to the conversations we shared, the laughter, the prayers, and the moments that drew us closer to God, every part of this trip reminded us that when we make ourselves available, God can use our yes in ways we may never fully see.

This recap captures only a small glimpse of what happened in Honduras. There are stories behind these moments, lives behind these faces, and memories we’ll carry long after we came home.

DAYS 8 + 9 | Honduras 🇭🇳

And just like that, our final days in Honduras have come to a close.

After a week of serving, building, praying, worshipping, sharing the Gospel, and loving on the people of Honduras, Day 8 gave our team a chance to simply breathe. We spent the day at a beautiful resort enjoying the lake by boat, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, and relaxing by the pool. After working hard all week, it was a much-needed day of refreshing and fellowship.

Then came our final day - The team partnered with the church for a children’s outreach filled with songs, games, puppet shows, face painting, ice cream, a bounce house, and plenty of smiles. We brought small prizes to give the kids, but the greatest gift we could give was our time, our love, and the opportunity to show them the love of Jesus.

As we close out this missions trip, our hearts are incredibly full.

Full of gratitude. Full of memories. Full of stories we’ll carry home. And most of all, full knowing that God was present in every moment and that this trip was far more than what we could have accomplished on our own.

Tomorrow, our team begins the journey home. Please join us in praying for safe travels, strength, and a smooth return home as they make their way back to their families, friends, and communities.

DAY 7 | PART TWO | Honduras🇭🇳

There’s something so beautiful about watching this video.

Before the work, before the conversations, before the moments that would require them to pour out, our missions team worshipped together.

A bus full of people, voices lifted, hearts ready.

What a beautiful reminder that worship isn’t just something we do inside a church. Sometimes, it looks like singing on a bus on the way to serve.

DAY 7 | Honduras 🇭🇳

Today’s photos were some of the hardest to choose from. There was so much power in what our team experienced that it felt impossible to capture it all in one post.

This morning, the team visited a local hospital where families aren’t permitted to stay inside with their loved ones receiving treatment. Instead, many camp outside the hospital, waiting for updates. Some patients were even waiting outside to be admitted.

Our team split into two groups. One held a service inside the chapel, while the other prayed with patients and families, shared the Gospel, and reminded people that they were not forgotten.

This afternoon brought a completely different kind of encounter. The team visited a children’s home where they care for children from infancy through age 23. Some have lived there since they were only days old. Rather than simply coming to serve, the team spent the afternoon playing games, laughing, and loving on these kids.

Two very different places. Two very different needs. But the same mission: to show people the love of Jesus exactly where they are.

Please keep praying for our team as they continue serving in Honduras. Pray that the seeds being planted this week go far beyond the moments captured in these photos.
