What Do Men Do Under Pressure?โ
Every man will face opposition.
Not maybe. Not someday.
Every man.
Sometimes opposition looks like enemies outside of you.
Sometimes it looks like pressure around you.
Sometimes it looks like voices against you.
And sometimes the greatest opposition is the war inside you while youโre trying to hold your house together, lead your family, keep your integrity, and not lose your soul.
A man can look strong in public and still be bleeding in private.
He can show up to work, smile in the meeting, shake hands at church, pay the bills, mow the yard, answer the texts, and still be carrying silent battles nobody sees.
The question is not whether opposition will come.
The question is: Where does a godly man go when it does?
The psalmists teach us something powerful here:
When hell pushes, heaven must be accessed.
When men oppose you, prayer positions you.
When darkness closes in, prayer is not retreat. Prayer is reinforcement.
Too many men see prayer like a last resort.
The psalmists saw prayer as first response.
Because when a man prays, he is not waving a white flag.
He is stepping onto holy ground and calling on the King. ๐ฅ
