Matthew 5:13–16
The pastor taught that disciples are called to make a difference by being salt and light. Jesus said we are salt and light, meaning our influence matters.

Salt represents influence and strength. It must be used wisely, which points to prudence acting with care and concern for the future. Our actions and words should positively impact others and help preserve what is good.

Light represents illumination. Though it cannot be touched, it can be seen. The light of Christ in us should be visible through how we live. Where there is darkness, light must shine.

Jesus’ intent is clear: let your light shine before others so they can see God through your life.
