We need soccer refs for our youth soccer games on Saturdays at 9:00am. Games are about an hour long and we pay $40 per game. You don't have to be a certified ref, just know about soccer rules. A great opportunity for highschool soccer players that would like to make a few bucks. Contact John or Pete at the church office 352-629-7058

Upward Soccer Registration is OPEN!

Our Upward Soccer league is for children ages 4-14. Practices begin the first week of March. Players practice one night a week (6-7pm) throughout the season and when games begin (March 28) they will be Saturday mornings at 9. All practices and games are at Oakcrest Baptist Church. Please register by February 14. The last game and season celebration will be on May 16! We ask that each player attend one of our evaluation events if possible. They are February 13 from 5-7pm and February 14 from 9-11am. Players will go through soccer drills to help us match up teams by ability. Cost is $85 per child and includes team jersey and socks for games, and a soccer ball at the end of the season! We look forward to seeing you this season!

We look forward to gathering together tomorrow morning! We wanted to let our members know that we will have a family business meeting immediately after the service to discuss our church insurance plan. Please plan to stay if possible.
