Our congregation was founded in 1977 by a group of men and women who had the desire to bring Jewish meaning into their lives through an active and caring community. Our congregation strives to provide the kind of worship services, Jewish education for children and ad

ults, and a variety of programs and activities which create a thriving and vibrant community. As in many small congregations we enjoy the advantage of creating a feeling of an extended family for our members. We have celebrated together and have supported each other in difficult times. We have studied together over the years and have sung and danced and “eaten a lot of good Jewish food.”

"Hate is NOT Stronger than Love"

Today, the Muslim community is mourning in sadness.
The anger they must feel is powerful and understood.
When I read about the shooting at the Mosque in San Diego,
I did not think about who the victims were - they were VICTIMS.

A shooting at a Synagogue School in Michigan,
A shooting at a Mosque school in California,
Thank God for the security personnel who sacrificed their lives to save the children.
Their sacrifices will not be in vain…yet, when will we learn?

Hatred of one minority = hatred of all minorities.
We live in a world filled with those who do not understand.
We live in a world filled with those who hate without knowing why.
Their misgivings are misguided and uninformed.

V’havtah L’reiacha Kamocha
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”
These words are true in every language.
Let us make our love stronger than their hate.
