Today in Glow Kids we learned from the story of King David and Nathan in 2 Samuel that a true friend will tell you the truth—even when it hurts! Our amazing helpers brought this lesson to life with a skit reminding us that real friendship isn’t about telling people what they want to hear, but it’s about lovingly helping them do what is right and get right with God. The truth may be uncomfortable, but speaking the truth in love is one way we show our friends we truly care!
This weeks memory verse is “Have I now become your enemy because I am telling you the truth?” — Galatians 4:16 (NLT)
Remember, Glow Kids-A true friend loves you enough to tell you the truth!

Today Mr. Cole shared a message that is at the very heart of our Glow Kids name-GO LIGHT OUR WORLD! We want our kids to remember that they can shine the light of Jesus everywhere they go. ‭‭Our memory verse this week is Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬-
“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”

Today in Glow Kids, we learned from Jesus’ teaching about the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19–31 that eternity is real, our choices matter, and we cannot wait until later to turn our hearts toward God. We talked about how God’s Word has already given us the truth we need, and our job is to listen, repent, and follow Jesus now. Our memory verse this week is Hebrews 9:27-“And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment.”
Don’t forget to have your Glow Kids write their memory verse and turn it in Wednesday or next Sunday to earn Bible Bucks. Glow Mall is this Wednesday!

Today in Glow Kids, we continued talking about how Satan is a counterfeiter and that just because something looks supernatural, impressive, or fun doesn’t mean it comes from God. Through the stories of Pharaoh’s magicians, King Saul, and Simon the Sorcerer, we learned that God does not want us seeking answers, power, or supernatural experiences anywhere except from Him. We learned to ask, “What does God’s Word say?” and to make sure our choices of what we participate in are drawing us closer to Jesus, instead of away. Our memory verse this week reminds us, “Stay away from every kind of evil.” and is 1 Thessalonians 5:22. Please remember your Glow Kid can memorize or write the memory verse for Bible Bucks each week to spend in Glow Mall.

Tonight in Glow Kids Remix we continued Sunday’s lesson and learned that Satan can counterfeit supernatural things. In Exodus 7, Pharaoh’s magicians were able to imitate the supernatural sign God gave Moses when his staff became a serpent, but that did not mean they had the same power as God. We were reminded that just because something looks supernatural, powerful, or impressive doesn’t mean it comes from God, so we must always test it against God’s Word. Yesterday in Glow Kids, we continued to learn that Satan is a counterfeiter who can make something wrong look good, exciting, harmless, or even supernatural, but Jesus is the truth! We learned from Matthew 4 that even when Satan tried to tempt Jesus and twist Scripture, Jesus responded with the truth of God’s Word. We also learned that when something contradicts God’s Word, we know it is not from God, and we can pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us into truth. Our memory verse this week is James 4:7-“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Glow Kids Living Waters Church

This week in Glow Kids, we continued learning from our memory verse, 2 Corinthians 11:14: “Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light,” and talked about one of Satan’s greatest strategies, deception. We learned that Satan is a counterfeiter who tries to imitate what God does and to make what is wrong look good. Through the story of Adam and Eve and some fun object lessons, we learned that something can look good and still not be good, and if something contradicts God’s Word, we know it cannot be good or come from God. We also learned that deception doesn’t just affect us. It can impact others too, just as when Eve was deceived and also Adam, it ultimately affected every generation that followed.

Today in Glow Kids, we learned how Satan uses deception to make things that are wrong look fun, harmless, or even good, and how we can recognize the difference by comparing everything to God’s Word and asking, “Would Jesus want me to participate in this?” We were reminded that Satan may disguise himself as an angel of light, but we don’t have to be afraid because we can choose God’s truth and trust Him as our refuge and strength. We had a reason to celebrate today because FIVE of our Glow Kids took the next step in their faith and were baptized! What an incredible day watching these kids publicly declare that they choose Jesus! Our memory verse this week is found in 2 Corinthians 11:14
But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Today in Glow Kids, we learned about Ananias and Sapphira and how seriously God takes truthfulness. We talked about how lies have consequences, but God lovingly gives us conviction so we can confess and be forgiven, and make things right. We were reminded God wants us to tell the truth, even when it’s hard! Our memory verse this week is found in Acts 5.

Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”
Acts 5:3-4

Today in Glow Kids, we learned why God wants us to tell the truth and be people others can trust! We talked about how even when telling the truth is hard, we can choose honesty while still speaking with kindness and love.

Our memory verse this week is-
Proverbs 12:22 “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.”
