The Great Calorie Debate Continues! 😂🍔🍟

Does food eaten at a church gathering actually have calories? This theological question has sparked ongoing debate, and unfortunately, the biblical references and scientific research remain somewhat blurry. 🤔

Therefore, until further evidence is presented, I will continue to operate under the assumption that food consumed during Christian fellowship is calorie-free! 🙏😂

Of course, we may need to reconsider our position if the bathroom scale presents contradictory evidence. 🤣

Our research will continue every Sunday after church as we gather for some fun, food, and spirit-filled fellowship.

And I believe our next research session will take place at Culver’s! 🍔🍦

Please come prepared to participate in this very important study. After all, iron sharpens iron… and apparently, butter burgers sharpen our faith! 😂🙏❤️

Pastor Jack’s inspiring Small Group message was beautifully reflected in his service after worship. Alongside his lovely wife, Wanda, he warmly greeted our church family with encouraging words, joyful fellowship, and heartfelt hugs. Their kindness and faithful care remind us of Christ’s love in action. Thank you, Pastor Jack, for serving with humility, compassion, and devotion, and thank you, Wanda, for faithfully sharing in this ministry. You are both deeply appreciated, and we thank God for the gifts you so generously share with our church family.

Small groups are vital to a healthy, growing church, and this past Sunday Pastor Jack inspired us to deepen our faith through meaningful connection. We are blessed with a thriving small-group ministry and a pastor who leads with faith, wisdom, and a heart for people. Pastor Jack reminded us that church is more than attending a service—it is about building relationships, supporting one another, and growing together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Small groups help us live out the Great Commission by cultivating belonging, strengthening faith, and developing leaders. Pastor Jack encouraged everyone to take the next step by joining a group or prayerfully considering starting one, with his personal guidance and support. Let today be the day you connect, grow, and answer the call. We thank God for Pastor Jack’s faithful leadership and commitment to helping our church family grow stronger together.

What a joyful and blessed Baptism Sunday we shared! With grateful hearts, we welcomed Pattie DeLouie through baptism and celebrated God’s transforming grace at work in her life. Baptism is a beautiful outward expression of an inward change—a public declaration of faith and a commitment to follow Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19–20). As a church family, we rejoice together, surrounding Pattie with love, prayer, and encouragement as she continues her walk with Christ. May this special occasion also inspire each of us to remember our own baptism and renew our devotion to the Lord.
