CWF Southwest Christian Women Fellowship

We had a delightful time today at our CWF Annual Ladies Tea at Southwest Christian Church. 😊. The fellowship hall looked lovely with 9 different tables set for tea. Everyone did a fabulous job with decorating and the food was wonderful. Our servers treated us like royalty, serving us punch, tea and desert. We were blessed to have Norita and John Long and Natalie Amato here with us today. They treated us to a wonderful musical program with a garden theme and had us singing along with them to a number of selections.
A garden goodie basket was given away and our resident Bees came by to hand out a parting gift. Sincere thanks to all who helped to make this such a great event. 🙏🏻😊

Our recent CWF Ladies Mini Retreat was held on Saturday March 11. Les Eagle led us in praise and worship as he sang and played his guitar and June Weiner inspired us with her story. We learned that no matter where you are on your journey, all things are possible- we just need to have faith. Following the time in the sanctuary, we all enjoyed a light lunch of soup, salad and desert. After lunch it was time for crafts, making a beaded bookmark, preparing picture collages from magazines to give to an Alzheimer’s Unit at a local nursing home or coloring for grownups. The CWF retreat is always a fun time to fellowship together. Many thanks to all who helped make this retreat a success. 🙏🏻🙂

One if our CWF projects for December was to come alongside a single mother with 5 children and help provide some gifts for Christmas. The gifts were chosen thoughtfully and wrapped lovingly and delivered today to Amber in time for Christmas day. 🎄❤️🎁. Check back for pictures of their smiling faces as they open their gifts. 😊

The Southwest Christian Church lunch bunch enjoyed a festive and yummy lunch at the home of Josephine Hirshberg. Her home was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and we all enjoyed the fellowship together. Thank you Josephine for opening your home to us. Merry Christmas. 🎄🙏🏻
