May 17: Fellowship Meal – Love Offering for Super Summer
All food provided and will be served by Youth
May 17: Graduate Recognition Sunday – Business Meeting
May 26: Women on Mission @ 6:00 pm English Tea Party!
May 31 – June 5: PBA Youth Camp
June 7 – 12: PBA Children’s Camp
June 16 – 20: IBSA Super Summer Youth Camp-Greenville
July 13-16: Vacation Bible School

Palestine Baptist Camps will be coming up soon. Please be praying for the campers and the workers. There is a need for volunteers to help serve lunch and supper meals each week and also to do some Bible teaching. To volunteer for this, contact Rachel Snider at 618-562-1297. Thanks for considering this! See dates above in “Looking Ahead”.

Our church has been invited to go on a one-day mission trip with Shiloh Baptist Church (Bridgeport) on Sat, May 16. The trip is to "Love Packages" in Butler, IL, a ministry that packages used church literature, Bibles, etc. and sends them overseas where there is a great need for this. We will need to leave early from Oblong...at 6:15 AM and will return after 6 PM. We will ride on Shiloh's church bus and they are furnishing sack lunches for everyone. Contact Debbie Walls with questions.
