🎬🍿 Kids Summer Movie Series 🍿 🎬

For many families in Crawford County, the kids summer movie series was a tradition. When our local theater closed, it left a gap in our community—and a lot of kids (and parents) missed having that fun, affordable summer activity.

While we know we can't replace the theater experience, we wanted to do something to help fill that void and create a place where families can gather, make memories, and enjoy a movie together this summer.

Join us for a FREE Kids Movie on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of June and July at Highland Church of Christ!

Bring your kids, invite your friends, and come enjoy a fun summer morning with us. We hope this can be a small way to serve our community and continue a summer tradition that so many families have loved over the years.

Baby bottle fundraiser now going on until Father’s Day!!

Please pick up a baby bottle from either church service and collect spare change, cash or write a check to support our local ministry-Redeeming Love Ministries.

Your change can help be the change for many!!

Don’t forget to pick up a bottle Sunday!! Filled bottles or donations may be given to Darla Boehl or taken to the church office.

Hey kids: it’s time to get signed up for summer camp at Oil Belt. Before you register on line, call Amanda at the church office. She has some special detective 🕵️ training that can help you get a 50% discount for your week!!! Call her at 618-592-4031.

Now bigger kids: FCC’s day to help prepare the meals is Monday, June 15, 2026.

* Need cooks for 8:30 am - 1:00 pm AND 3:00pm - 7:00 pm.

* we also need 1 cook to help cover the day.

Oblong Memorial Day Service will be held at Legion Parkway, across from Oblong Township Cemetery on Monday, May 25 beginning at 10:00 AM.

Oblong American Legion will present the colors at 10:00 AM with service immediately following.

Please feel free to bring your lawn chairs or golf carts.

We appreciate all those who contribute to our service each year and we appreciate all of you who attend to pay honor to the many we have lost who have served this great nation 🇺🇸!
