For most of the past 26 years that I've been at Fairview Baptist Church in Obion, Tennessee, we have met on Thursday night before Easter to observe the Lord's supper. We think of this as traditionally the night that the ordinance was originally given. It is always a very special service. It is my prayer for everyone that they understand the price that was paid for their salvation. And that every person on Earth would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. And know that as he hung on that cross if he had looked down through the ages and they had been the only one that would have accepted him,..... He would have died for just you.

We will be having a special observance of the Lord's supper this coming Thursday night April 2nd. Easter has snuck up on me. It's next Sunday. I normally have been announcing this for several weeks. But this year it slipped up. Thursday night would be the traditional night that the apostles met with Jesus in the upper room in Jesus instituted the Lord's supper. We will meet at 7:00 and this service will last about 20 minutes 30 at the most. I hope you can make it and if you have a Christian friend who would like to come and take part, they are welcome. This has always been a special time and I hope everyone can come.
