Dear Members and Friends of Hebron United Methodist Church,

It is with sadness that I share with you about the closing of Hebron United Methodist Church. We held a church conference last Sunday, December 3. Following the conference, the final worship service was held.

The primary receiving church will be Oakwood United Methodist Church. We invite you to worship at Oakwood UMC or Catlin UMC on Sundays at 9:15am (Oakwood) or 10:30am (Catlin).

Thank you for learning to love me as I have learned to love you. It has been a joy to love you in the name of Christ and to participate in Christ's ministry with you over the last two and a half years. Whether this is a time of transition to one of the other churches on the charge or a time to consider attending elsewhere, I am praying for you and your decision.

Well done, good and faithful servants. God's peace be with you in this Advent season and as we move toward Christmas.

This Sunday marks the fifth Sunday in October. We will be joining Oakwood and Catlin at Oakwood for our fifth Sunday cooperative worship and potluck.

Worship begins at 10:30am. The combined bell choir and the combined chancel choir will be a part of this special worship service.

Oakwood members, please bring a side for the potluck.

Catlin and Hebron members, please bring a salad or dessert for the potluck.
