Pray with me as you start your week:

Father,

We're praying for our kids this morning, and we're praying for ourselves as parents too.

John said there's no greater joy than to hear that our children are walking in the truth (3 John 4). That's what we want for them, more than anything else.

Give us wisdom as we raise them. The kind we don't have on our own (James 1:5). Give us strength for the seasons that are wearing us out, and patience for the days that test it. Help us point them to You by the way we live in front of them every day (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).

For the kids who are walking with You, keep them close. For the ones who've drifted, draw them back. You promised that Your Word doesn't return empty (Isaiah 55:11), and we're trusting You with that.

Remind us that they were Yours before they were ours and You love them more than we ever could.

Give us patience for the long road, and the joy of watching them walk with You.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
