Statement of Faith

What We Believe:
1.God: God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Gen 1:1, Deut 6:4; 26,27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matt 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14

2.Mankind: We were originally created in the image and after the likeness of God, and that we fell through sin, as a consequence of sin

, lost our spiritual life, becoming dead in trespasses and sins, and subject to the power of the devil. Gen 1:27; 6:5; Psalm 8:3-6; Isa 53:6a; Rom 3:23; Isa 59:1,2, Jeremiah 17:9; John 3:6; 6:35

3.Eternity: We all were created to exist forever. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men. The saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. The place of eternal separation from God is called hell. Heaven is the place of eternal union and eternal life with God. John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15 (Hell); Matthew 25:41; Revelation 21:27 (Heaven)

4.Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Matt 1:22,23; Isa 9:6; John 1:1-5; John 14:10-30; Heb 4:14,15; I Corinthians 15:3,4; Rom 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Tim 6:14,15; Titus 2:13

5.Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to mankind. Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8,9; John 3:16; 14:6; John 1:12; Titus 3;5; Gal 3:26; Rom 1:18; 5:1; 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:1-6

6.Eternal Security: Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in the salvation for eternity. John 10:29; II Tim 1:12; Heb 7:25; 10:10, 14; I Peter 1:3-5; I John 5:11-13

7.Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make mankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of Salvation. II Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; John 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 2:12; I Corinthians 3:16; Eph 1:13; Gal 5:25; Eph 5:1

8.Bible: The Bible is God’s word to mankind. II Tim 3; 16; II Peter 1:20, 21; II Tim 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160; 12:6, Rev 22:12

9.Church: The Church is composed of all believers who by the Holy Spirit have been baptized into the body of Christ since Pentecost. Matt 16:18; Acts 2:41; I Corinthians 12:12-13; Matt 28:19; I Corinthians 11:26

10.Sanctification: Sanctification is twofold, positional and practical. First positional, since the believer is in Christ, he is a partaker of Christ’s sanctification. Secondly, practical, the believer is responsible for his practical sanctification (daily walk), he is to “grow in grace” and become like Christ. Rom 5:1-5; II Corinthians 3:18; Eph 4:24;5:5-27

11.Ministry and Spiritual Gifts: God has sovereignly bestowed Spiritual Gifts on all believers and that these gifts make room for the believer. I Corinthians 13:4-11; I Corinthians 14:27-33; Romans 12:3-8; Ephesians 4:7-12; 1 Pet 4:10

Peace!
John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Point To Ponder: Let the Redeemed IN Christ recognize the Divine and Sovereign Control OF Christ. It is obvious we lay down at night, assuming we will wake up in the morning! And, when we are blessed to awake in the morning, we rise with so much hatred in our own hearts, the killings, bickering in government, division in our homes, schools and workplace seem commonplace. Let us not forget the devastating disasters occurring all over this land. Some would dare say this chaotic mess is on-going, never-ending and getting worse day by day, so there will never be any rest or peace. The LORD God Almighty IS Still Divinely Speaking, especially to the Redeemed of Christ. In the on-going chaos, the Lord does not want us to be under the circumstances but recognize Him in any circumstance, because we know, or should know, we are already an over-comer IN Him. Our Savior never said this life would be easy, and it takes Divine Help, and Hope IN the Divine King to live as His children. As King Jesus says, ‘you shall have tribulation,’ so we would be prepared when tribulations come; not shocked or dismayed when tribulations come. In and while going through this stuff, cheer up, joy up, not because tribulations feel good, it is because God IS God and like Him, His Goodness never ends! God’s Grace IS Divinely and Sufficiently holding and guiding us through while we rest IN His Peace! By-the-By, God’s Mercy IS renewed daily! So, how are we, the Redeemed IN Christ, representing Christ in these chaotic days! Because He has overcome, we ought to be and in fact, can be of good cheer! Whatever the problem, King Jesus IS the answer, and He IS our Peace! The Redeemed in Christ must believe and by faith, live IN His Peace if we are to allow His Peace to radiate from us so in this chaos, someone may see His Peace in us.

Let Us!
Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.” Point To Ponder: “Let us reason together,” by our thinking this is a discussion of equals. This is between The LORD God Almighty, The Divine, Sovereign God, who IS Judge, Holy and Righteous and the rightly accused, all of mankind, who had nor has any excuse or defense for sin. The LORD points out because of our blatant choice to sin; our sin is as scarlet. Oh, how deeply stained with sin we are with no way, on our own, to be cleansed. What can wash away {our} sin; nothing but the Blood OF Jesus! This is what the Redeemed OF Christ are IN CHRIST; a New Creation- washed white as snow by the Precious Blood of the Lamb. Filled with, indwelled by, empowered with, and Enabled by The Holy Spirit! King Jesus voluntarily made a Divine and Loving Transfer by taking on our unrighteousness AND transferred His Righteousness onto us! Now, that IS a Hallelujah Moment! If we bleed, our blood stains what it drops on, to the point where the garment is ruined. However, there is something Divinely different about the Precious Blood of King Jesus! King Jesus says though our sins be as scarlet, by His Blood, we are washed white as snow. We Forgiven; Justified IN Christ BY Christ AND made valuable and loveable to God The Father who is no longer angry with us because OF Christ! We are now united Saints; Joint Heirs with Christ; Redeemed, Reconciled and Set Free to be Free Worshippers OF Christ by how we, right now live FOR Christ! What can make {us} whole again; nothing but the Blood of Jesus! Oh, Precious IS The Flow, that makes me white as Snow, no other fount I know, ‘Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus!’ Come Now!

Happy!
1 Kings 10:8 "Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom." Point To Ponder: Do not mock or condemn the emotional, Kingdom busy Christian. Don’t mock or condemn the Redeemed of Christ for being able to daily hear the Wisdom of the King! Life happens! Yet, in-spite of life’s trials, failures, disappointments, struggles, they have rediscovered a Joy that belongs to and unites ALL the redeemed OF Christ! They are delighted because Christ IS their Joy, not life’s trials. Their Joy is being a “Child of The King!’ By continuing to humbly stand BEFORE Him, they continue to have access TO ‘Him,’ therefore, they are better equipped to handle the trials of life with Wisdom FROM ‘Him.’ Oh, the Joy of being able to come before His Throne OF Grace! These servants are not happy because of the luxury alone, but they are Joyfully Happy because in The King’s Presence, they can continually receive the King’s Wisdom! God IS Still Divinely Speaking! In any life situation, He states, “My Grace IS more than Sufficient!” Because Christ IS Our Joy; The King’s kids ought to be the most Joyous and busiest people on earth knowing it is a blessed privilege to be in service to a Wise Leader, and to be able to share the Good News of the Gospel Message! The King’s kids ought to be busy letting The King Love on them while telling others about where their Joy comes from, His Blessed Name IS Jesus! He IS Our JOY!

Pray Continually – It IS A God Concept:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Point To Ponder: Continual prayer to God, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, ‘in all circumstances’ requires a radical change, in us the Redeemed! If we humbly allow, the Spirit OF God will remind the children OF God of the blessed privilege of talking with God, not just in the morning or before bed, all throughout each day. It is not how hard we pray; it is that we pray always in all circumstances TO Him Who IS Able IN any circumstance. It is keeping an all-day running, conversations with God about all things! And truth be told, most of our daily conversation with God should be thanking God for ALL things! Thank God for the gracious privilege to say thank you LORD! You keep on blessing me! Be continually joyful knowing He IS interested ‘in all circumstances’ of our lives. Be thankful in knowing that all things, even those things we think or big are small in God’s Divine View! We can be joyful knowing He IS ever with us and if it concerns us, it concerns Him! Thanking God is not just because He can get us out of stuff, most self-inflicted, but more so His Faithfulness while we are going through stuff. His Grace IS Sufficient to keep us, providing us with His Comfort while we wait for His Blessed response to our prayers! God IS Still Divinely Speaking! Answered Prayer are prayers prayed! Thanking God stems from faithful prayer too God as He provides Joy circumstances cannot take from us! In Christ, it is the ‘Will of God’ that His child prays continually!

Marvelous Are Your Works AND My Soul Knows Well!
Psalm 139:13-14 "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and my soul knows very well." Point To Ponder: Never think of yourself or someone else as less than or God cannot use them or you because of your or their current life circumstance! Never think God is finished with someone or you! Never think you or someone is a mistake. Never think you came into existence by some cosmic explosion with no purpose! It IS an Awesome, Sovereign God who formed your inward parts. It IS the LORD God Almighty that Divinely, Intelligently, Artistically, Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally, and Individually, organized your digestive, respiratory, circular, muscular and a host of other systems that are individual yet interdependent on one another so the whole of you works in harmony for His Will and Glory. Although made individually, through Christ, we are united IN Him; therefore, we were made to totally depend ON The Creator! We are to work intimately in unity with Him and with one another. God IS Still Divinely Speaking! Look in the mirror this morning, then Praise God! Look around at your family and Praise God! Intently listen to His Divine Voice as you read His Word and Praise God! Speak to God in prayer and Praise God for that blessed privilege of coming before His Holy Throne of Grace! In humbleness, thank God that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made” BY God to live a life Praising God while reflecting King Jesus as you go! Thank God that “Marvelous” are His Works! Praise God that He has allowed your soul to know very well His Amazing Love, His Sufficient Grace AND His Endless Mercies!

IT IS IN CHRIST!
Ephesians 1:11 "It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us." Point To Ponder: So, there is no confusion, the Preeminent Christ was never lost; therefore, no one ever found Jesus! There was never a ‘big bang’ nor did we evolve from monkeys or apes. We are not and have never been redeemed by any political or religious affiliation. We have not, nor shall we be redeemed because of our various skin tones! Jesus IS; therefore, He has forever thought about us; a Divine Fact proven “At The Cross.” Jesus is not just the starting point of our life; He IS the Giver, Keeper, Sustainer, and The Divine Source OF life! Jesus IS the Supplier of all things needed for life, here and for eternity! We, mankind, have failed miserably by going to any other source other than Christ, to find out who we are and what we are living for. In the midst of this chaotic, divided, fearful, and hateful society we now live, Jesus IS our right now Hope, our Comforter, and Safe Haven! It IS Jesus and IN Jesus we have and can experience, right now, Peace FROM God and the Unfailing Love OF God! It IS in Jesus we discover who we are IN HIM and our reason for living FOR HIM. God IS Still Divinely Speaking! Jesus IS Our Living Hope!

Therefore, Today!
Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Point To Ponder: Although promised to no one, if tomorrow comes, tomorrow WILL bring issues of its own. Therefore, today, there are things God’s child can do. Today, by His Spirit that resides in, let us free ourselves from anxiety. Today let go of stuff we have proven we cannot handle. Today there is some forgiving to do including forgiving yourself. Today a desire to unite instead of divide is needed! Today relationships need mending, including the relationship with ourselves, but more importantly, our relationship with God. Today someone needs encouragement, including you! Today, someone needs an unexpected hug, including you! Today compassion is needed, and long-suffering is required. Today, there is a need to give, a need to forgive, a need to share grace and mercy as God daily and freely gives to us. Today, someone needs to hear the Good News of the Gospel Message – from you. Nothing added to it, and surely nothing subtracted from it – just share and allow the Holy Spirit to do the convincing and convicting. Today, no fear in sharing the Gospel Message because tomorrow is promised to no one! Today, someone needs to hear you love them, and so do you! Today, let God Love on you! Today tell and show others the Love OF God IN you. Today, love yourself the way God loves you! Today, love your parents, spouse, child, grandchild, and neighbor. Today, know God can never stop Loving you, so there is always an endless supply of love for you to share with others! Today know God will never leave nor forsake you, so stop giving up on yourself or others. Today, thank God because nothing can separate you from His Love. Today know God shall supply all that’s needed when needed. Today seek God’s Wisdom. Today lift up the Name OF Christ. God IS Still Divinely Speaking! Therefore, today, let us act like His Church and know God IS Still IN Charge!

Meditation:
Colossians 3:16 "Remember what Christ taught and let his words enrich your lives and make you wise." Point To Ponder: Our memory is like a muscle; spiritually, the more it is used correctly, the stronger it becomes spiritually! The more we remember God’s Faithfulness, our knowledge and faith in Him grows. As we grow IN Christ, His Word enriches our lives FOR Him. It replaces the old with the Newness of Life! Increasingly, we come to look at ourselves, others, and most importantly Him through His Divine View and that enriches our view of ourselves and one another. We become fertile, fruitful, productive, here-on-earth Kingdom Citizens empowered by The Spirit OF God, advancing in the things OF God, all for His Glory! Some benefits to remembering God's Word, it helps resist temptation! It helps us make wise decisions! Reduces stress! We deal with one another with Grace and Mercy He daily bestows on us. It builds confidence IN and faithful obedience to God! It builds Godly relationships with one another! Helps us offer and receive Godly advice and helps share our faith in our Redeemer! It helps renew our minds, helps by providing us Peace in the midst of life’s storms! Godly Wisdom to get through each moment of this day, and a resting place when we become weary. Let us be mindful, meditation is not putting our mind in neutral and letting it wander. Meditation is, with the Holy Spirit’s Help, focused thinking on God's Word, which is a strong indication we need to personally know God’s Word! As God Divinely Speaks to us, change occurs, with the most noticeably change being in us, individually, as we mature AND collectively, we become more dependent on our Savior. We become more reflective of Christ, empowered to act like His Church, while becoming wise doers of the Teachings of Christ!

For With God!
Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing shall be impossible." Point To Ponder: Today; this Day that the LORD Himself has made, let the Redeemed of Christ encourage others and ourselves with God’s Word! “Be still and know that I am God.” While still, see God’s View is ALWAYS according to His Divine Will. His Will is ALWAYS Good, Acceptable, and by way, it is Perfect! God’s Will for us is ALWAYS what’s best for us; even when it doesn’t feel good, or we cannot see no way out from where we are! This is the way God ALWAYS sees our problem. There is no problem too small that He is not concerned about. There is no problem bigger than ‘The Bigness of God’s Power! There is nowhere you are that He is not! Where He leads you, He IS with you as you go! There is nowhere He sends you that He is not already there! God IS Still Divinely Speaking! While in this chaotic, hateful, divided world we now live, in the Blessed Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us reflect His Glory by placing – then living our faith in the middle of this Great Promise; “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Fight The Good Fight:
1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” Point to Ponder: For us to ‘fight the good fight’ is a Heavenly Clue for us to see not all fights are good fights! The fight we the Redeemed of Christ are in is not with one another. This fight is not based on man’s opinion, religion, denomination, skin tone or political affiliation. On this side of God’s Heaven, God calls His children to a Unified Life of faith IN Him through Christ Jesus, not a picnic, holiday nor a pity party. Start to finish its war – a Spiritual War; fought IN faith IN The Name OF Christ! While in the fight, we have a place of retreat IN the Blessed, Most Able and Capable Arms of Christ! In His Presence, in His Loving Arms, our complaints cease along with its companions’ fear and anxiety! Prayer and Praise commence! Rejuvenation takes place! This war is intense and a lifelong battle, yet most doable being empowered by His Spirit. It demands full commitment to God; to His Commission, His Commands, His Purpose, while being fully covered IN His Protection and His Power so that we are Spiritually able to withstand the enemy and our own thoughts! In the end, we come out more than a conqueror! In Christ we already are Victorious because He IS our Victory! In Christ we already have eternal life! Take hold of being a Christ Representor! Live like a Witness for Christ that has been Redeemed by Christ. Act like His Church working for His Kingdom! God Has Spoken! God IS Still Divinely Speaking! Fight The Good Fight OF Faith!
