Over 300 ppl joined us yesterday for Oakland’s City-Wide MLK Day Ecumenical Service at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. L. Lawrence Brandon, Pastor. Bay Area Anointed Voices sang their hearts out; various speakers talked about their affiliations involvement in the Civil Rights Movement; Tahilah Praise Dancers received a standing ovation; AND Rap Artist/Community Activist Mistah Fab literally PREACHED!

Prayer for Our Government

Gracious God,
We come before you with mixed emotions and many unanswered questions. The U.S. government is supposed to be based on the Constitution, yet we have seen it blatantly distorted, manipulated, and disregarded. This administration is running the country as an authoritarian regime and a dictatorship, as opposed to a democracy, without regard for the people they were elected to serve. As believers, we stand on your Word and realize we are in the midst of serious spiritual warfare; your Word teaches that our weaponry is not physical, but through you, it is greater than what we are facing, with the ability to destroy all contrary forces. Therefore, we cancel every demonic contract developing against solidarity, unity, and peace. We come against every war waging in countries all over the world. Thank you for raising up members of the House, Senate, military, and community who refuse to operate in fear and are willing to enforce rules, laws, and the rights of citizens. Thank you for those who are bold enough to speak truth to power and protect the lives of all people. We are grateful for those who support putting down weapons and fighting for freedom and justice for those in this country as well as others. This is the beginning of a new year, and we declare a shift in the atmosphere according to your power and the strength you have given us to carry it out. In the mighty, miraculous name of Jesus, we pray, and declare it is so, Amen.

Goodbye 2025 🌅

Thank you for every lesson, every tear, every breakthrough, and every blessing seen and unseen. You shaped us, strengthened us, and carried us through.

Welcome 2026 🙏🏽

We step into this new year covered in faith, guided by God’s grace, and anchored in love. May our homes be filled with peace, our hearts with joy, and our paths with purpose. May healing flow, doors open, and favor surround our family and friends.

We declare 2026 a year of restoration, growth, deeper faith, and divine alignment. God, lead us, keep us, and order our steps.
