What a terrific WTS Opening Event today!

We heard a very informative and thought provoking talk by Dr. Masua Sagiv, from the Shalom Hartman Institute and UC Berkeley School of Law, about "Imagining a Better Future: Cultivating Hope and Resilience." Very timely with all that is going on now...

The Opening Event Team, led by Susan Forman and Jackie James, did a terrific job in planning and hosting this event, starting with a delicious lunch from La Mediteranee and ending with the installation of this year's WTS Board and the Gift Raffle winners!

A great start to this busy WTS year!

What a great WTS Chanukah Party! Terrific food, interesting discussions, meaningful candle lighting, and of course great company! We also collected a large table full of gifts to donate to Toys for Tots.

Rabbi Bressler gave an inspiring and educational talk about Feminism in Judaism, the new Board was installed, and so many terrific sandwiches and desserts were eaten. Many thanks to the Committee who planned and produced this event!

What a great day in the redwoods at the WTS Spiritual Retreat last Sunday! Torah Study, rock painting, drumming, and more... including all the delicious desserts made by our very own super baker Sandy Goldberg!!

What a terrific WTS Passover Seder last night with nearly 140 women celebrating and retelling the Passover Story together from a woman's perspective! What a delicious potluck dinner too...

Today we had a terrific WTS Opening Event on Women's Reproductive Freedom with an inspiring talk by Rebecca Bauer-Kaplan, Assemblymember from the CA 16th District.

She talked about many things being done at both the state and federal level including CA proposition 1 which will be on the ballot in November. You can learn more here - https://ballotpedia.org/California_Proposition_1,_Right_to_Reproductive_Freedom_Amendment_(2022).

The 2022-23 WTS Board was installed by our three Rabbis. We are looking forward to a productive and fun year!
