Every Tuesday at noon we will gather very simply to pray. Nothing fancy. No frills. Just God. This is a prayer room not just for Tapestry Church but for anyone in Oakland who would like to seek God’s face with us.

We’re honored to welcome Pastor Wendy Nation to Tapestry this Sunday! 🙌🏽

A native Oakland resident, Pastor Wendy has spent nearly four decades helping people understand and live out the Bible in simple, practical ways. Her wisdom and gift of encouragement have touched lives across generations, cultures, and denominations.

She’s also an avid Raiders fan, a believer in the restorative power of a spa day, and a proud mom of three adult children - who she regularly reminds that she is still waiting on grandchildren. 😉

Tapestry Church is hiring for two part-time roles in Oakland!

We’re looking for a Worship Director who can lead a multicultural congregation, develop a thriving volunteer team, and bring both musical creativity and strong organization to Sunday worship.

We’re also hiring a Childcare & Kids Ministry Assistant to help create a safe, joyful, and welcoming environment where children are known, loved, and able to grow in faith.

Whether you’re an experienced worship leader ready to help shape something meaningful, or a warm and dependable person who loves working with kids, we’d love to hear from you. This Sunday, we’re excited to welcome Andy Madsen to Tapestry! 🙌

Andy has called Oakland home for the past 10 years and co-planted Reunion with his wife and best friend, Sarah. He is a husband, father, foster dad, and educator of hospital chaplains - and he brings a love for Jesus, creativity, conversation, Legos, dinosaurs, Star Wars, and The Lord of the Rings into all that he does.
