Love the people you love like everyday was Thanksgiving beloved. Don’t take people or time for granted. Forgive, make up, fix it, make thanfulness a lifestyle. Nurture, water and enjoy the love that has been planted in your life as often and in as many ways as you can. Sad to say but tomorrow is not promised -- next Thanksgiving might be too late.

Some of us suffer because the only Word that we’ve heard or been taught, is the promise in the end, the finish line praise, the victory speech. By now, you know that between the valley and the victory, between Egypt and the promise, is a battle. It’s good to know what promises you’re fighting for but it’s also good to know how to fight beloved.

We have to learn how to fight, war in the spirit, go through Goliath’s, cross Red Seas, march around Jericho, go from the pit to the palace, and go from the garden of Gethsemane — a place or occasion of great mental or spiritual suffering, to glory.

I don’t know who I’m talking to but your battle has been intense, you have been sweating blood in your garden of Gethsemane, your wilderness walk has been long, your Jericho walls don’t seem like they’re going to fall. You’re not losing, you’re warring beloved. This is the process that comes with every promise.

The Bible declares, “When you are weak, then are you strong.” Warfare is not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit beloved. Warfare is an intimate walk with the Holy Spirit to a deeper, more powerful relationship with God for the victory. Warfare will crush you beloved — don’t war in feelings, war in the spirit. War in faith, war in the word.

When you’re warring, remember these three things: Go deeper in relationship and trust, speak truth to the lies, and seek wise counsel if you get stuck. Warfare is not easy beloved, warfare stands between you and your victory. Defeat is not optional!
