In todayโs Gospel, Peter asks the Lord how often he must forgive, and Christ calls us to forgive not seven times, but seventy-seven times (Matthew 18:21-22). As we also mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 and celebrate the feast of St. Peter Claver, we pray for healing, mercy, and peace across our nation and world.
